Bodies are weird. In a deficit but had too much sodium? "Gained" 2lbs. Had a surplus day? The next morning you're down a pound. It's bonkers, but that's why I don't stress too much about it. The scale is just a measurement of data.
Here's what I've noticed since being more on point with my diet and exercise:
I sleep better.
I have more energy.
My mood has improved.
A shirt that used to be too snug in the middle fits.
So, yeah, pleased that I'm down 5.6lbs so far, but I'm not worried about that jump on the scale cause I'm feeling better overall. And that's something we should all be doing. Cause the scale is just a hunk of metal and plastic and glass. Everything else is what matters most.
