#weekly evaluations

Monday morning we had Sarah and ballet doing the usual technique and ballet stuff doing the same exercises. In ballet Charlotte is working on our adage as that's what we need to improve on she doesn't want us to be boring she wants us to perform , her aim is to get us dancing ballet. In the afternoon we had body con an I was proud of myself I started pushing myself and I didn't give up, in body con it was a bit embarrassing you could she Charlotte and Jay competing against eachother and they was both really going out of time to see who could do it faster. I think Charlotte as a teacher always has to say that she is better than us and always talks about herself. we then finished of hound dog and did 2 new sections and a lift section, Archie is my partner and he has got so much better I remember when we was in first year and he couldn't lift and now he has come on so much an he can lift me easy and I trust him which is good. Me and Archie actually got on very well and we was having fun at the same time an that's nice to have that when working with a boy partner because sometimes some people can become a bit awkward. Tuesday we learnt a dance to purple rain that could potentially go into the show . I'm a little bit worried about the show as we haven't really done a lot in the numbers we have just started loads and we don't know who's in what. An where I've missed a few days I don't really know what I am in. I really enjoyed this dance , I felt like I was understanding what Sarah wanted and I got the timing, when I dance I try to make sure I really listen to choreographers and what they are asking of us. I then had ballet and it was the same as Monday we worked on our turns to 2nd an they are slowly getting a bit better but I need to keep my spot and not change it and using my arms will help. Tuesday afternoon we spent ages doing I feel love and it came on so much and placed it all together and I think that's the one number that looks like a dance number at this moment in time. I'm excited to be apart of a lift as in helping someone I'm usually being lifted and it's quite scary being a lifter as you have to make sure they are safe an that you have them. Wednesday morning we did on the radio and it really shocked me , the number went from being a number I wasn't excited about to being really excited! I feel like I'm in a proper girl group like in legally blonde. It's a really fun sassy number. We have a jacket on an get to use the jacket and dance with them kind of as our prop, we got a lot done in this and it looks like it could be a strong number which is exciting as I didn't expect it. In the afternoon we did an hour of sinneman we didn't do a lot but there was a lot of movements in a count of eight and it was really confusing to your brain so it took us a while to do it and do it with the correct counts. After I had zosh doing feeling good doing lift work and me an jurek did a lift and even he has got so much stronger and I felt safe with him and trusted him at the start of 1st year I never could have been lifted by him the only person I trusted was jay. Thursday all day we did the opening and it was hard , we changed it and changed it loads of times but by the end of the day we had it how they wanted it and it looked like a strong opening. Lindsey was being very strict with us but that was good as it pushed me an made me want to work harder. The 1st year section look very strong it made me want to up my game as of course I want to look better than them and it's our show as its our last show. By the end of the day my brain was going into overload an I was getting confused with my counts where I was trying to hard it wasn't happening for me.

This week has been very productive. We have pieced together a lot of scenes and made improvements on a lot of scenes. We had a negative start to the week. There was a lack of focus  that was created on monday morning and lasted until thursday. We did manage to get a lot of work done this week but with the amount of time that was wasted telling the group to be quiet and arguing about warm ups made a huge difference on the work we completed compared to what we could have achieved this week. We managed to show the whole final sequence to the whole company. We also managed to get everyone involved which means the final scene is complete. Overall, this week has had its ups and downs but having the final piece of the puzzle is giving us the hope that we currently lack. Next week is our final week to get everything sorted so i hope that everyone is going to be on top of their game as i most certainly will.

My frist week at Misken was an emotional one ,as i know i had taken the first steps to achieving my dream of becoming an actor. I know i was ready for the challenges ahead of me. Nomatter how tough they would be for me ,in the frist week of my training i have gained a lot of expeiences and learned a lot about what it takes to become an actor and of the high level demanded of me. with knowing that i begun to enjoy myself in the Misken .So far, i have gained the expireances of stage combat, body asolaton and phyisical theater.these are some of the experience ,since joing the misken theater compey. I have love every momment of my traing at misken so far and cant wait to see what is next me.
