It occurred to me as I write this, that you don't know my voice. So even though I don't sound like one, for this picture on this virtual travel scene imagine you are reading this with someone speaking with a very British accent. That's because this pic is from outside London, England at the Harry Potter Studio Tour. Oh the dazzling lights, colors, all perfectly showing off the original props from the movies. Such creativity and beauty. Of course everyone knows that the big blockbuster movies spend a lot of time and money on their props, down to the smallest details. And yet of course, they are mostly fake facades. Something I learned about the movies is: it doesn't have to be, it just has to look like it. Niagara Falls (Horseshoe Falls) as seen from the Maid of the Mist. It's certainly not the easiest to get pics of the falls due to the tossing and rolling of the boat along with all of the mist / moisture in the air. But I did manage a few like this one. There are many things to see in Washington DC. Of course there are the big monuments, but there are smaller things as well. And then there are the smaller things in the midst of the big.
