ALRIGHT I'm obsessed with Spies in Disguise, because of the main characters, they're so well evolved. But unfortunately I couldn't find the fandom yet (especially the shippers). Please I need company at these weird over obsessed times
Hot take. In the Walance ship, I do not at all think that Lance would be the one to propose to Walter, for him to squee over.
It seems to me that the entire point and defining characteristics of the characters are about Lance being too emotionally reserved, juxtaposed with Walter proving that he is a mature, grown man in his own important and unique way.
This is a defining characteristic of his Zillennial generation which he thematically embodies in the film. I was born in '96 and have had the same problems, so that is extremely personally important to me and a large part of why I love Spies in Disguise.

"Skating? Oh no!"
He laughed. "Come on, you can do it. I'll help you."
Walter measured him. "I can skate. When I have skates and am not sliding for my life.“
"Make shoes that are skaaaaaaates."
He chuckled. "Why are you say it like that?"
Lance waved his arms like a magician. "For efeeeeeeeect."
"You're just making fun of me."
"Maaaybeeeee. Luckily for us, they lend skates here. Come on!” He grabbed his hand and pulled him to the boot. Walter didn't break off. He played it fair and square. The deal was a date, so it was a date.
A date with laughter, a hot mulled wine, Christmas markets, snowball fight, skating, roasted chestnuts, a visit to a bookstore, and a walk through a snowy park. It was snowing, and one of the flakes caught on Walter's lash.
It was perfect. And it was… fake.

But Lance didn't care. It's been a beautiful day, and he refused to spoil it just because it's fake. So he joked, talked about what he was reading, and listened to Walter's enthusiastic retelling of the latest Korean series. At one point, Lance said the protagonist's catchphrase in Korean and would have sworn that... he would have sworn Walter had blushed. But his face was red from the cold the entire evening.
They were sitting on a bench in the park. The date was almost over. He gulped and quickly recalled Walter's funniest experiments. It worked. The tension in his shoulders was gone. They laughed with their heads together. Walter beamed at Lance and moved his head even closer.
He lost his breath. Walter wants to…
They were only inches apart when Walter pulled away, shaking his head. "I'm sorry," he whispered.
His lips tingled with a shadow of a kiss that did not come. "What's wrong?"
He hugged himself. "This is not right."
"Why not?"
"Because you don't really like me. It's not real.“
He almost screamed with hopelessness. "You keep telling me how I feel. Why don't you tell me how you feel?”
Walter looked down, and even though it was impossible on the narrow seat, he pulled away. "It doesn't matter how I feel."
"Isn't it?" He raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Of course it is!"
"It’s not. It doesn't matter how I feel, because the way you behave and what you feel is not real.“
Lance folded his arms across his chest and stared at Walter. "That's just a bunch of bullshit."
"It’s not. It's important. It's a principle of the thing.“
He took the to-unlove vial from his pocket and looked at it. "Walter, I'll only ask you once and then I'll drink. I promise.“
"What do you want to know?"
"Is there a chance you'd love me?"
Walter laughed nervously. "I will always love you. You are my best friend!"
Best friend. He can live with that. And feeling a little less love could help.
He exhaled and uncorked the bottle. He smiled at Walter with a number five smile. "Thanks for a nice date. It was worth it.“
He emptied the contents quickly and grimaced at the salty taste.
He felt Walter's gaze on him. "So? Does it work? Do you still feel like you love me?”
He looked at him, at his nervous expression, and his heart ached. He still wanted to smile when he saw him. He still felt warm when he remembered Walter's embraces, which had been far too few lately.
He armed himself with the number two smile and spread his arms to the sides in the victory. "Same ol’ same ol’!”
Walter smiled weakly. "That’s good.”
He took Walter home and quickly kissed him on the cheek in front of the door. He masked it with a joke. It was still their date, after all, wasn't it?

They don't give credits to the artists, never put the links where the original works are. Excuses themself to be lazy to put them and just straight up repost Wallance arts in the SiD tags on Tumblr.
Even if you tried to talk out to them, they would never listen either way. And just said that "It's okay to repost things on this site! There's nothing illegal about it!~"

More Wallance content for the people here is good, BUT REPOSTING ARTWORKS ON THIS SITE WITHOUT LINKS AND CREDITS IS ALREADY ILLEGAL, AND CLAIMING THAT REPOSTING IS OKAY BECAUSE THE PERCENTAGE OF HOW A LOT OF PEOPLE DO THIS STUFF IS OKAY?! THAT'S NOT EVEN A GOOD EXCUSE FOR FUCKS SAKE!
