I was scanning through the reincarnation shojosei manga lists, searching for some reading with long enough chapter as ive had enough of cliffhangers TT. Stumbling upon a cover of FL in japanese attire x ML in western fit, i was thinking, "whoaaa is this colonized x colonizer historical romance manga im reading?!?!!" totally forgetting that i, in fact, am inside the reincarnation manga list.... classic me lol. The plot is easy and cute. FL is not on some big mission of saving the world because she's a saintess yada-yada (well, she kinda,,,) but the initial premise was she had a dream of establishing a wagashi shop (japanese sweets) in another world. Then began her journey, backed up with a proper family AKA the cool yet kind hearted duke. She had it kind of easy. Always full of positivity and smiles. I mean, we need to find a "shes different from other women" reason for our ML to fall in love, dont we? Overall it's a cute story. Though i cant seem to find myself care enough about her wagashi journey, lol, sorry girlie. I skimmed for most of the parts, seeing only the illustration, some (that seems like) important talks, or the romance progress. Shes a strong woman, for sure, but i as a reader need that kind of breather of women rage and things like that sometimes hehe. Also, the fonts are just too small to read. I find it annoying and tiring when i have to zoom the manga panels just to see a dialog (NO HATE TO OUR BELOVED SCANLATOR TEAMS NOOO it's just my preference. PLEASE never take it into consideration!!! <3). Not to mention this reading site im using is not good at supporting such behavior of easily zooming in and out (GOD I MISS MY GRAVEYARD WEBSITE BATOTO MY GOAT T__T). Thats why i will keep this manga on hold for a moment.
