I actually love how ugly Merlin's outfit is in Merlin. BEFORE YOU YELL AT ME - I love his outfit, I think it's fun, but when you look at every other character, even other peasants, he literally is wearing ill fitting rags. Everything is too big on him (despite being like six foot but whatever) and his silhouette reeks of boring character design.

But like!! Yeah!! He is just Some Guy. I love how they never give him som epic mage robes or a cool outfit for more than thirty seconds. He is unassuming. He's over here, commanding dragons and controlling the weather in the medieval equivalent of stained sweatpants and a night shirt. It's great.

i grew up watching bbc merlin. like age six? seven? i was watching it with my mother. bradley james was my second ever crush after sportacus from lazy town. like i've literally been in these trenches since i was a child child

and since then my conviction that merlin is the most devastatingly beautiful piece of media i've ever consumed has literally only grown.

My biggest gripe against criminal minds evolutions is that it's referred to and it's on streaming services as seasons 16-17-etc of criminal minds instead of being season 1-2-3 of criminal minds evolution. It has a different format, it was made for streaming and not for network tv, it has an entire different quality to it. It should be treated as its own thing.

#thank god disney added the option to remove stuff from the continue watching #because before it was a nightmare #every new season i had to watch the last minute of the last episode to remove it #by better quality i mean literally #visually #my mum's been watching it and every time i walk by i'm taken out by the crispiness of it all #and the fact that it doesn't cover the entire screen of the tv bugs me #i cant speak regarding the quality of the show itself because i haven't seen it #and i have no intention #i needed to rant because i think my mum is tired of hearing me say this #so on tumblr it goes #criminal minds #criminal minds evolution #cm evolution
