Speaking of Occtis as art depictions, I keep thinking about his murder at the hands of Ethrand in relation to Enrique Simonet's La autopsia (1890), and Gabriel von Max's Der Anatom (1869)
The forced vulnerability and intimacy, the literal objectification of their bodies, on top of the complete lack of autonomy the young woman and girl are being subjected to speaks to what Occtis endured during his murder and mutilation
