“NUZI WEEK 2025: DAY 5: alternate universe”
On the subject of AUs, I also thought I’d include my own, but trust me y’all, I pretty confident in saying that I don’t think ANYBODY is ready for Versa Incorporated.
It will be briefly popular to dunk on that recently announced Disney animation about the heterosexual couple having a baby, please be aware this is by one of the animators on Moana whose infant son died during production not an expression that woke is over.
Yeah, I know how it looks, but that's why you have to double check your initial reactions.
Skinna and her school lackeys: Vice and Versa (she thinks she real tuff) Vice and Versa are coatimundis btw!
I have something to say about the ppl mad about Varesa being fanservice. It’s fine to obviously be mad at the racism and fatphobia from hoyoverse but fanservice isn’t inherently bad(and it’s not always sexual either). It’s bad when it’s of children and or when ppl think that EVERY SINGLE female character in media needs to be fanservice catered to men.
There’s nothing wrong with fanservicy designs that both men and women can find attractive and I don’t think we need to abolish all fanservice in media(unless it involves kids obviously)but at the same time not every game needs to have fanservice. Plus since day one genshin has always been intended to be a game loaded with fanservice.

I'm glad Disney released these at all, but some of these deserve a theatrical release to be nominated for some awards
I find it crazy that Disney decided to launch the "Short Circuit" series in 2020, 3 years after their last theatrically-released short. Since then, it's been pretty on-off with whether or not a Disney film has a short in front of their films. I've heard this is due to the need for more animators for Disney+ productions and not really being profitable in contrast to the film it's in front of, but I still think some of them deserve theatrical recognition (because not every person is gonna specifically go looking for animated shorts), as well as getting to be nominated for awards like the Oscars--which they can't do if they're exclusive to a streaming service.
I also wanna point out the fact that Disney makes amazing, inventive shorts like "Versa" and "Us Again," but then we get films that aren't even to that quality lately. This is the creativity Disney should be farming!
