Does anyone remember that animated series called Redakai?
I wanted to share something with the community: I've been writing some Redakai fanfiction. They're stories that explore relationships that could have happened and others that never would have. I've created all sorts of AUs and plan to write more in the near future.

El regalo equivocado (The Wrong Gift)
I never write stories based on specific time periods, but at one point I wanted to participate in a Fanfictionero contest (a Spanish-language fanfiction platform) and there were some dark prompts. I liked this idea more than you can imagine; somehow everything came together in my head in just the right way, and I couldn't help but write it down and submit it to the contest. Of course, it didn't win, but I do think it's a fun idea because it was fun to write.
Christmas party games aren't Zane's strong suit, so finding a gift for his sister Zair was a real challenge. He's found a mysterious new monster, and it seems like the best gift-wrapping option he could come up with. * This story was created for Fanfictionero's Christmas contest, "Naughty or Good?", with "Krampus" as the trigger from the Naughty list.

At one point, I wanted to write even more original, longer stories. And this idea for Maya came to me. It's still a work in progress, like Double Loyalty, but so far I'm really enjoying the writing and its structure. Lokar always seemed desperate to lure Maya to the dark side, but it seemed obvious to me that he didn't want her as a granddaughter or because she was part of his blood. He wanted her for the weapon she represented.
Lokar isn't going to wait for Maya anymore, but the fact is that he never wanted her, but rather the potential she carried within her. And, fortunately for him, that potential could be uprooted and passed on to those who truly deserved it.

No necesitamos a Lokar (We Don't Need Lokar)
While browsing Tumblr, I came across a post that I found funny and that sparked a couple of amusing ideas. The Battacor were one of my favorites; I never really liked that they were removed in the second season. Hence my little motivation to develop an idea based on this user's Tumblr post. The idea belongs to @gayakai, but the writing and development are mine as the author.
The Battacor are still there, they just don't work for Lokar anymore. They say, "Smh, we don't need Lokar, we'll still be Kairu warriors, but out of spite >:[" ---------- Idea based on @gayakai's Tumblr post; all rights to the idea belong to this user.

Doble Lealtad (Double Loyalty)
When I watched the second season, I liked the Hiverax robots. I liked their strength and their mystery, and I started thinking about how these beings, who seem to have been created solely to fulfill Lokar's will, could be. That's why I've been speculating about what might happen if one of them had rebelled or made a grave mistake, breaking the code. In this case, I even wanted to create a completely spontaneous and atypical relationship between Maya and Nexus.
After failing a mission that calls into question his loyalty to his cause and his brothers, Nexus loses his status and is demoted to a humiliating job as a servant. Now he must confront resentment, his wounded pride, and the difficult decision of seeking redemption or giving in to the desire for revenge. Maya is fighting her own internal battle. Forced to play a dangerous double role, every lie she tells brings her closer to crossing the line into betrayal, risking not only her mission but also her soul.

Dentro de una jaula (Inside a Cage)
When I watched the series back in 2012, almost a lifetime ago, I liked Maya and Koz together. I wanted to bring that idea to life by creating this short one-shot. This is my humble contribution to this fandom and this ship.
Maya and Koz are going to learn that there are people you just need to get to know a little better before you dare to judge them. --- Based on episode 8 of the first season.

El Refugio de Rynoh (Rynoh's Refuge)
I've already written one about an unusual couple. I saw one about Maya and Zylus, who did interact, but I still didn't quite like them together. Somehow, I preferred Rynoh. And then I got the idea that Rynoh also had great potential.
Maya is in the wrong place again, but this time luck won't be on her side. An afternoon walk in the woods turns into a life-or-death situation until Rynoh appears. --- There are references to episode 22 of season 1, "Green With Infinite Envy"

La Memoria de la piel (The Memory of the Skin)
I've written a Zane and Maya fanfiction. I haven't seen any fanfiction about this pairing before, so I decided to create a couple, at least for my own enjoyment. I liked the interactions between them and always felt that a relationship between them, without either of them changing their sides or their ideals, would simply be explosive.
When Maya turned evil, she did and said some very strange things that she would never normally do. But to be honest, she doesn't regret some of them. --- Based on episode 22 of season 2, "Elimination Island," with elements and references from episode 2 of season 1, "Maya Turns Evil"

I always felt that Maya was closer to Boomer than she was to Ky. They seemed very close, almost as if there had been some kind of hidden relationship during the series, or a pretty strong connection. More so than with Ky. That's why I wrote this short one-shot, with a scene between them, with Ky as the viewer.
Boomer's snoring always seemed extremely annoying to Ky, but, to be honest, he would have preferred it not to stop. One night, when he was still half-asleep, he discovered why some nights were quieter than usual.
