sorry about that i was in a hurry what i meast say was that galdos likes to be captain obvious when testing the aquatos like bringing up maliguila and that auggi is kind of adoupted
OH, bringing up the obvious! I get it. The typing of obvious just made it really hard for me to understand.
I think she'd not really be able to get to the aquatos with the adopted line, since Augustus loves his mom-aunt, and it's not like he was abandoned on a doorstep like she says Chell was.
GLaDOS is trying to use common things that people wouldn't like to hear, but the thing is, these guys don't really care about those things.
(as a valvonauts counter, since that au still exists: She can't use the usual bit on Scout either. He's much easier to call an annoying little pest, a rat, like she would with Doug, who's kind of both Sheegor and Fred there. Doug is also mocked due to his schizophrenia and the information in his file-- partially due to being a scientist, he's going to be attacked mercilessly. And, well, Scout's just a lil brat intruding in her space.)

i just felt like wallace breen would be the gristol malik of valvonauts
You'd think that, but nope. He's also (probably) dead, just like Cave Johnson.
There's this whole subplot including Aperture and Black Mesa working with psilirium and psitanium to find immortality and to create their own psychics/make known psychics more powerful. In the process, Aperture got basically demolished thanks to GLaDOS (who we lovingly call LobotDOS in this au) and Black Mesa had at least parts of it burn down, leading to Barney becoming a Psychonaut.
For more on the Black Mesa aspect, I'd recommend asking @legallymean , who is the one who does the Half Life part and knows more about Barney's backstory.
If you're curious who Gristol actually is... Well, the Psychic 7 are from TF2, if that helps you narrow a bit down, but spoilers ;)
Clairvoyance ideas for VN? Maybe how the aperture crew sees each other??
I've held onto this because I wanted to draw them but I've realized I don't have the energy to really draw all of them-- Since. Y'know. That'd be 12 pictures.
Anyways, I'm gonna include a cut to describe everyone.
Mel's Clairvoyance of others:
Doug: A nervous sports announcer with giant glasses, looking like a big nerd. She sees him as someone who can't really do much in a sport, but still someone important, though mostly for his intelligence.
Aegis: A competitor. Aegis is shown stretching and wearing an olympics uniform for an unknown country. There's no real explanation, but she does view him as a bit of a threat-- in the way that he could beat her in a fight.
GLaDOS: A cheating competitor-- likely in the way of sabotage. She's viewed as a major threat, someone who would beat her handily through cunning and ability. I don't know how she would be represented as cheating-- maybe by sticking gum on the bottom of Mel's shoes?? Something kinda silly.
Later they become a scientist rat, a man looking confusedly at a rubber duck, and a dorky-looking lady holding a cake over her head.
Aegis's Clairvoyance of others:
Doug: A lab coat-wearing mouse the size of a person. (I mean it, he's a mouse, which would really annoy him to hear because "I am a rat!") He's also got a large chair in front of him, instead of the cube. It's a bit blurry and cracked, but it's an attempt at understanding him.
Mel: A blurry and cracked athlete... who also happens to be something she definitely isn't, like a textbook. This is a running joke here. He has no idea what these people look like.
GLaDOS: You guessed it, a blurry and cracked cat standing on its hind legs. She's clearly defensive.
(Post-fixing his visor, Doug becomes a scientist with a stack of books; Mel becomes an athlete in a rocket-propelled wheelchair; and GLaDOS becomes a baker with a plate of the bread from Expiration Date.)
Doug:
Aegis: A very angry, sketchy, heavily-shielded figure. Aegis is mainly drawn in bronze and silver.
Mel: A sketchy laughing figure, viewed as someone who would mock him. Mainly orange and red, like her hair.
GLaDOS: A cracked figure-- half of it is Caroline crying, and half is a monster scribbled so heavily it would break a page.
(Post-story, Aegis is a sketched guard with a dog; Mel is seen with a cane and a trophy, and GLaDOS is the most like who she wants to be.)
GLaDOS:
All figures start off viewed as dangerous scientists with lots of data around them. They're laughing at her, and clearly out to get her.
Doug becomes a nervous-looking dweeb with a smile, hiding behind an easel.
Aegis becomes a man with a punching bag, punching it with one arm while studying something still.
Mel becomes a racing figure in her chair or with her cane, clearly using it while speeding along.
I have the “is that really what you think of me?” scene on the brain,,, could I see that but Valvonauts?
The main reason your request took so long was because I was being lazy u-u
Like. I wrote that line above on the 11th, and it's just now getting more, sort of lazy.
Scout jumped from platform to platform, balcony to balcony, barely keeping ahead of the flames below him. He glanced up at the angry figure as he crawled onto the catwalks, shaking and coughing. He could barely see her through the smoke, but he could hear her scolding him again.
"Ma, c'mon, please... Just... It's not..." he begged, barely sitting up. Finally, the throbbing in his temples stopped, and a new figure burst into the scene.
"Jer-bear, sweetie, oh thank god!" a thick Boston accent proclaimed, and a set of cold arms wrapped around him. He sniffled, and buried his head in the shoulder closest to him as the arms lifted him up, a familiar person-- his mother, one of his favorite people-- holding him close once more. "I was so worried about you, baby... Your mind-- They say it's in here with another woman's, are you alright? You could've been hurt--"
"Bah. Like it matters. He's been cavorting with psychics," the other woman chided. "Dilly-dallying with fortune-tellers. Wasting his time on this when he could have stayed and helped with the diner."
"Wh... Oh, god, Jer, is that... is that what you think of me?" his ma asked. Scout shook his head.
"I-- I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, ma--"
"No. Don't apologize to me, sweetie, you don't need to. Right now..." She aimed her hand, and moved it like the knockback of a gun. A psi-blast shot out, a curveball aimed directly at the opposition's face. The noise that rang out could only be compared to the sound of a bat smacking into someone's face, followed by screams as she toppled off the catwalks. Finally, there was a moment of peace, and Raven finally drew back from their hug.
"...Ma, you're...?"
"Psychic. Just like you, and just like your pa. It's nothin' t' be ashamed of, Jeremy."
Scout sniffled, and he barely stopped the tears from falling. All he could do was hold her hand, and hope for the best.
"It's not over yet. The show has only just begun!"
Another request from a friend without a Tumblr: Valvonauts G-Man.
[Image ID: A sketch of Half Life's G-Man, with a sketchy briefcase beside him.]
He's either the replacement for the bacon advice, or the oatmeal replacement. He either pops out of the briefcase, or shoves you into it to teleport you places. It is entirely up to fate which one we decide he does. He's never explained. He just shows up in Gordon's mind as "A Guy" and just hasn't left. Living rent free in everyone's brain now.

if you could make a psychontaus parody out of any game what would it be?
Oooh, good question, anon!
If this is asking what game I'd like to see mental worlds from-- TF2. They'd be so unique and differently designed, which is honestly what a lot of Valvonauts are for. We've already got a 50s diner for Scout, a fake neighborhood with crash test dummies and a clear movie set feeling for Spy, two point hospital now with more almost-death for Medic, and a very neat concept for Heavy's as well. I'm always trying to think more on some of 'em though.
If this is asking about what game I'd like to see with the signature PN humor-- I'd say it'd be fun to get more of that humor in games like Powerwash Simulator. Give me some clearly insane things that I just need to shrug off.
It's a bit hard to really understand the idea of a PN parody here, but I'd totally like to see some of the characters from stuff like Zero Escape or To The Moon in the PN style too ^_^ They're not as well known as some of the main stuff I love, but seriously, I'd adore some talk about To The Moon and the other games in that franchise.
"Are you actually capable of not lying for ten seconds?" for like… maybe Scout and Spy? Vn or normal, your choice
You and I both know it's a VN kinda mood.
He knew the day would come when he'd have to face his family again. He just didn't expect it to be so soon.
Staring at the boy just outside of the isolation chamber, he could see the similarities between him and the woman he had left behind-- the bat, those green eyes, even the buckteeth. Before the boy could speak up and ask questions, Spy stood, straightened his tie and mask, and vanished.
Easier to avoid him for just a minute longer.
~
When he arrived at the Heptadome to find Sniper there, he expected the Australian to sling his usual insults. What he didn't expect was what so quickly followed.
"So this is where ya ran off t', huh? Got scared an' ran away here."
That boy from before was back, his arms crossed, tapping his foot.
"Mission first," Spy ordered, "mad later."
"Mad later?! What's that s'pposed t' mean?!"
"You saw Tavish back there-- if we don't get him help, everyone could die. Focus on that first."
The kid balled up his fists, his improperly wrapped hands barely covered enough to keep him from digging his nails into his skin.
"Fine. But the next time, I got questions, and ya gotta sit there and answer me. No runnin' off, no ignorin' me, nothin'."
Spy said nothing-- only ignored him.
~
While he worked to set up a new office, the familiar voice of the scanner told him all he needed to know.
"Scanning for Thinkerprint. Access granted. Welcome, Grand Head Doe."
He smiled slightly, and straightened up.
"Ah. Hello, Zhanna. I was just getting settled, but I'd have time to give a statement about the events of--"
As he turned around, he realized who truly stood there-- it wasn't Zhanna at all. There, once again, stood that same small boy, the one he had seen so long ago and then never again.
"I hope ya got time t' give a statement." The boy snapped his fingers, letting the door shut behind him as he walked closer. "I got questions, an' ya said ya'd answer. Mad later. It's frickin' later." He pulled his hat down, then glared at Spy, forming a levitation ball to reach his eye level. "You frickin' abandoned Ma. I get wantin' t' leave my brothers. I can even get it 'bout me. But Ma? Who… who do ya think you are? She's done nothin' but help me an' my brothers all my life. She ain't got a bad bone in her-- she still frickin' loves you, an' I don't get it. But she's my frickin' Ma. And-- An' if ya wanna hurt her like that, ya got a big storm comin'!"
He threw the first punch, slamming right into Spy's nose. It would be a lie to say he hadn't seen some sort of yelling coming, but the punch caught him off guard. He stumbled slightly, clutching his nose to check for blood as the boy's shoulders trembled with his shaking breaths.
"That's for my ma! And-- An' if ya think ya deserve another chance, she's-- she's the one ya gotta say sorry to."
The levitation ball vanished under his feet, and the boy barely caught his footing. He took a loud, sniffling inhale, and he pointed his bat at Spy, even though he couldn't hold it straight with just one hand.
"I ain't gonna take anythin' from ya-- Ya can't even stop lyin' for even ten seconds! Ya didn't tell me who ya were, ya didn't tell me cr-p! I just-- everyone says Uncle Finn was a monster, but-- But it's you. You-- you big jerk!"
Scout's voice broke a few times, but he took his bat with him as he fled from the room. Spy didn't try to follow.
Scout wouldn't listen anyways. No reason to chase after him. After all, as he had said, he wasn't the one that needed an apology.
He reached into his pocket, finding the old charm with ease. It was time to get that back to its rightful owner, even as his nose dripped blood onto his perfectly polished floors. That could wait-- he had a true mission to carry out.
