The heavy padlock on the basement door rattles, the sound cutting through the dark musty space

You shrink further into the corner, wrapping your arms tightly around your knees, You’ve been down here in the dark for at least two days now with only minimal scraps and half empty water bottles tossed down the stairs, Uvo’s version of a timeout after you tried to sneak out through thw bedroom window while he used the bathroom,

The concrete floor has your muscles aching from sitting down there for an extended period of time

The door swings open, light framing his massive silhouette against the upstairs light

He steps down the stairs, the wood groaning beneath his weight as he ducks his head to avoid the ceiling beams

A truly terrifying man

"You had enough yet" Uvo asks casually, his voice bouncing off the bare walls

He stops right in front of you, looking down. In the dim light, he looks like a god with the beams of light forming around him, You don't even reach his chest while standing, and from down on the floor, the sheer scale of him is terrifying

He squats down, Even as he haunches, he completely towers over you, He reaches out, thick fingers grabbing your ankle and effortlessly dragging you out of your corner until you’re right between him and the wall

"You look terrible" he says, a cocky smirk spreading across his face, his eyes scanning your pathetic state, It isn't a look of compassion; it's the look of a wolf evaluating a rabbit its chased to exhaustion "You ready to listen, or do you want another night down here?"

"I'll behave" you whisper, your voice cracking

Uvo lets out a low, satisfied hum that vibrates right through you, He reaches up, his massive, calloused hand cupping the back of your neck. His fingers are hot against your cold skin, spanning from ear to ear, He squeezes just enough to remind you how easily he could crush you, before yanking you closer to his face

"Good, I'm getting bored of keeping you locked down here” he says, his voice dropping into a rough, lower tone, His gaze drops to your mouth, then tracks slowly down your throat, his thumb tracing your collarbone with a slow deliberate strokes "I brought you here for a reason your no use down here”

He doesn't wait for a reply, His hands catch your waist, his thumbs overlapping across your stomach and hoists you up against his chest as he stands, You're completely swallowed up by his hold, entirely at his mercy as he carries you up the stairs for what will no doubt be the second part of your punishment
