can you fucking believe the harry potter series has its last day today...... albus is going to hogwarts and hes going to have tea with hagrid and it just hit me they’ve grown up, does anyone remember fourteen year old ron offering to make tea for hagrid..... hermione enthusiastically talking about when she went to dijon and getting distracted from the plan...... the fucking ministry battle.... the way everyone fought and ron getting those scars from the brains, when sirius fell through the veil, when harry woke up at the burrow in the half blood prince and ron’s so excited to see his best friend he punches him to wake him up.... dumbledore’s fucking death and the battle that ensued, how ron said ‘we’re with you whatever happens but come to the wedding bro’..... one last golden day of peace with ron and hermione..... the deathly hallows oh my GOd, when ron left, when ron came back, the BATTLE OF HOGWARTS and fred dying, the absolute madness that came afterwards, when ron said ‘really gives a feeling for the scope and tragedy of the thing doesnt it’...... ‘there would be days, there would be other days’ and i may be misquoting because every single copy of the series ive got my hands on has either been someone else’s or pirated but.... goddamn, september first is here and albus severus is going to hogwarts to carry on his father’s legacy (do you see that.... harry was seventeen two seconds ago and fighting for his life and trying to stay alive for his friends and ready to die for them and this boy, this boy has a legacy now what the fuck), go on that fucking red train and have tea with hagrid and meet the boy he will fall in love with and james potter the second will probably be blowing up every single fucking thing and oh m y god, god, they’ve grown up so much. look at where scared abused eleven year old harry was, look at where we started, look at where we are, hp fandom
