Imagine Loki coming up with a sneaky new plan to find out what youāre really thinking. (But he doesnāt want to think of it as āmind-reading,ā because this is differeny. This isnāt as creepy... right?) He wants to impress you, but he first needs to know how.
Things donāt go quite as he expected. Turns out, his underhanded idea doesnāt necessarily give him access to your thoughts. Instead, it causes you to blurt your thoughts without hesitation.
Consequently, Loki learns all about your crush on him. In fact, instead of keeping your feelings completely to yourself, youāre suddenly flirting with him as if youāve never heard of such a thing as āshame.ā
At first, Loki couldnāt help but feel a smug sense of pride at this realization. Now, heās starting to get uncomfortable.
You keep trying to corner him and find excuses to be alone with him. To invade his personal bubble on some pretext or another. And youāre not nearly as grossed out by physical contact as you typically are.
Loki understands youāre not in your right mind. This isnāt who you are. You would never act so forward. You certainly would never dress so provocatively. You would rather die than beg for attention like this. Even from Loki.
With that in mind, he knows he has to be especially careful. He doesnāt want to embarrass you, and absolutely refuses to take advantage of the situation.
Sure would be nice if youād come to your senses soon.
