1. where a concern has arisen, gather three people to labour upon it in a meeting with concerned for business

2. the convener opens the meeting by securing the space and notifying attendees of the time date and location

3. the clerk facilitates the meeting, stating plainly the concerns or purposes for which the meeting was convened, holding up the sense of the group and seeking to preserve good orderly direction in productive discussion

4. the recording clerk takes a faithful record of the facts and events of the meeting as well as what is said by attendees. clarify progress on the tasks at hand and issues for later work as they arise.

5. in meeting, information may be shared in service of the task at hand or potential courses of action may be described in detail. at times, a period of discernment may be needed to clarify what the task is or what gifts those present can contribute.

6. sometimes the contribution is not the most obvious one—allow space for silence so that possibilities can make themselves known.

7. when the meeting has reached its end, the record clerk reads the minutes for approval by the group. any inaccuracies or imprecision should be addressed here. for longer meetings, this may be done in chunks. Post a copy of the minutes in r/MeetingMinutes and send to all attendees and to affiliated groups (as applicable). this may include a local message board, discord server, or Quaker meeting.
