#ufo?

Do helicopters have the same lighting as planes? Cuz i was walking to the bus stop this morning, and saw what looked like a plane, the two white lights to each side with the blinking red one in the middle- but it wasn't moving. I watched it hover in one spot for like a minute, then start moving away. Then i started walking again, and looked up and saw it again in the same spot, just hovering still in the sky. Half a minute later, it moved, and i lost it in some trees and had to get to the bus stop. It was weird.
