Let's start the week with an outtake from Wife During Quarantine. As I've mentioned before, while I occasionally have specific visual ideas in my head, typically it's more of a roadmap. With this image in the series, I wanted to create something Warhol-esque/pop arty. And I planned to do it in-camera in one shot with a gelled strobe in stroboscopic mode, colored LEDs, long exposure and camera movement. But I wasn't sure what shape that would precisely take. So we tried various things. And started with this, which was moving the camera in a circle. Later we moved to a straight line camera pan and that's what I ended up posting and using in the book.
