I just need to give this it’s own post because YES.
[i know i've been a little out of it so I haven't had much chance to rp our beans yet but here's a smol thing] Mel pulls the bright pastel quilt up to the hunter's chin, tucking it at her shoulders. Lips press a kiss to the woman's forehead as Mel smiles, laying a hand on the large Rottweiler sleeping at the foot of the couch. "Get some rest, Shelly's gonna keep an eye on you while I run to the store. It's good to see you."

As tempting as it was to make fun of her friend for babying her, Tyler couldn’t deny that some sleep was needed. Besides, there was no way Mel would ever let her win that argument anyway. She hummed in agreement, a smile of her own forming at the kiss. “Shelly’s my babysitter, huh?” She laughed fidgeting slightly to get more comfortable.
“...I missed you.”
Quite possibly the biggest understatement of the century, she was quite tempted to throw her arms around her and hold on for dear life.
Some of the monster tamers and florists that live in Theta. Believe it or not, their jobs are quite comparable in risk; flowers are very deadly parasites in the Nightmare homeworld, and can only be disposed of by well-trained botanists.
The purple dinosaur-like creature on the bottom is Perish, Thorex's long-time companion. The green one is Gomak, Tymel's childhood pet.
Flitty and Thorex are dating, and they've been going strong for a few years. Gyne and Tymel are on again, off again, though Gyne's bold nature seems to clash with Tymel's shyness just a bit too much.
(Gomak, the little green critter and Tymel's pet, has seen a large design rehaul since this art. He's a lot more bird-like now)
