A good mate must be able to carry his partners all day and night~ ๐คง๐๐ฅ๐ท๐
Im seriously contemplating learning Korean so I can just read my light novels as they update without waiting for an English translation
The difference in the change in how isakei protagonists are viewed in different webnovels is funny because you have:
Jesse Venetiaan: Not real trusted to ๐๐ท๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ต
&
Cale Henituse: Literally the title to Father Figure
But also:
Lloyd Frontera: BASTARD to BASTARD (but we like him now)
This is basically the first few hundred chapters of When The Third Wheel Strikes Back to me

Thoughts on the Korean light novels I've read (but haven't caught up to / are not completed):
SCTIR: S-Tier webnovel. I alternate between crying at the emotional yoojin scenes and flinging my phone at the hjyj scenes. Genuinely my jaw drops every single time.
Debut or Die: Have yet to finish it. But BDS-nim has a way of making you get so emotionally attached to each character, especially the psychopaths. Cheongryeo has my whole heart. A+ for now. I'm sure I'll rank it as S by the time I catch up.
GSGW: also by BDS-nim. Starts off with a nice blend of comedy and horror and then you start to realize the horror is not the monsters or the life threatening situations, it's the emotional turmoil mc is put through on a regular basis. Another S-tier series. I've reread multiple times.
The hunter wants to live quietly: the world building is so good, the romance is gonna have you immediately invested. But you reach a point where it's just like 30 chapters of unending suffering so I had to take a break for half a year. Have yet to recover. Would love to go back and catch up one day.
Lout of Count's Family: I've been reading the official translated novels for this series. Cale is such a tsundere character and it's so endearing. He pretends he doesn't care but he's always looking out for everyone. Great found family vibes. Gonna give it an A+ for now.
Turning by Kuyu: I'm generally not a fan of abo but the author managed to get me invested in the lore of the abo! The main couple is also kind of similar to hjyj in a few spoilery ways. Except hjyj only have sex with their eyes, but these guys go at it. Solid B+ so far since I haven't caught up.
TWSB: fun read, interesting world building. The comedy is also good. The canon throuple marriages that nobles can have is very compelling. I stopped around chapter 200+ cause the eyestrain was getting to me but I wanna reread it and catch up one day. I'd say this is also B+ for me. Would be A if it wasn't for the one age diff side couple. I don't mind age differences but the youngest character is 16 ๐ฌ
Rotbb/romhs: SO FUNNY! Another S-tier series! I don't often laugh out loud while reading but this had me cackling for 100+ chapters in a row. Then you get emotional whiplash from the chapters centered around Chung Myung's grief but it's so so so good.
