as much as id hate to be the guy who overships gay people and the weird kind of fujoshi, i feel like BK_MOONs works, or the tged-verse in general (idk abt the doctor one, ive read like, 3chaoters,) falls victim to the cant get together because theyre both guys troupe. im not saying i hate the alicia/lloyd (alicia is written first for a reason) ship, thats like, what my sixth favourite ship (saying that as a multishipper, yes that list includes bg character ships). llojavi just makes more sense to me. they literally had a BRIDGE named after their ship dawg. javier would do anything, ANYTHING, for lloyd (yes, lloyd atp and not the frontera county), anything he tells him to do. he became a grandmaster because of lloyd, sticks to him because he wants to, because hes suho kim, not orders anymore. i feel like a few moments of fragility between them wouldnt feel forced, actually. like them bantering more often, javier bringing lloyd food near the end of the series since he kept locking himself away, and just them together in general. and before you say, 'oh, youre just weirdly obsessed with gay ships and want more media', yes. yes i am. but lloyd and javiers relationship felt way deeper and connected than just bromance, boderline actual romance. maybe ive just fallen back into the pithole that is llojavi, but nevertheless. i cannot press this enough, javiers wish is the only reason kim suho became lloyd. he recognized kim suho even though he never saw him before. ever. he cares for that man™ more than the county at this point. and thats JUST the javier side. lloyd had sacrificed himself MULTIPLE times so javier didnt have to. go ahead, argue its so everyone can live, even if he dies (you are absolutely right, im just using my little gay mind to twist the scene into my own preference pls dont hate on me for this but i seriously love them too much), but are we going to ignore the bone dragon arc? if you look at it from an angle, technically the cremo arc as well (overgrown seafood). javier looked so heartbroken and guilty i cant. lloyd regularly gives javier lullabies, even if he technically needs it, BUT he couldve just recorded it and let javier sleep in his own room. but nooo theyre still sleeping together (wink wink) and lloyd watches his knight fall asleep and. before you argue uts for safety reasons, javier became a grandmaster i doubt he needs to be in lloyds room. dont get me started on when we jump into javiers pov in the manhwa the way be sees lloyd, their relationship development??? THE WAY LLOYD LOOKED AT JAVIER WHEN HE WAS WITH SILLURIA? he wants that man (to be happy).
