like, it's crazy how much it shouldn't work, but it totally does! in different ways, both of them were fated to die, but both were able to escape that fate because someone in each of there respective universes cared enough to change that (rocky and sqq). liu qingge is also a character that feels like he no longer fits in the narrative of his story (I'm almost positive he had an unrequited crush on sqq, but where does lqg fit after the protagonists get their happy ending? where is his?) and I just love the idea of him finding that happy ending with grace <333

also I think grace would have some big feelings to work through if he ever saw how liu qingge could pick up rocky like a couple of grapes XD

Tbh, when I first read scum villain, my heart went out to Liu Qingge, I've been rooting for him from the start. If Shen Yuan can find a happy ending in a different world, so could Liu Qingge 😤
