Ohhh yeah =\ One of my biggest problems with AoT’s final season is how they handled the characters’ faces. And I know it’s not MAPPA's animators fault, they were overworked af and under crazy pressure to finish the series in a very short period of time. MAPPA’s poor management and, of course, Kodansha’s greed are to blame.
But man, MAPPA’s baby-face syndrome in AoT’s final season is truly something... They butchered every character’s facial structure that didn’t fit in Armin-like face type, and in Jean’s case it was especially painful, because the man’s got that long face and big straight nose and overall his face became even more angular post time skip, but MAPPA didn’t really show that right. His hairstyle also sometimes looked weird. It wasn’t all bad, of course, there are still a lot of scenes where he looked good, but if only the animators had more time to work on the series, it would've been so much better...
