I used to have a ritual for every time I came back to TS2, where the very first session of my life sim binge would be just several hours of tutorial gameplay, culminating in a glorious exit without saving. Those were the days.

I had a request to resurrect some sims from the Tutorial Neighborhood and this what I came up with. Since the face structure wasn’t in their character files I decided to recreate them all from scratch and I think they are almost spot on. Since they are simply recreations there is no conflict because none of their game data was used. I created the couples in CAS to get their traits and put each couple on their own empty lots. Then it was just a matter of opening the neighborhood in SimPE and build their Family Tree and relationships. I even added the two tutorial homes to the hood. There really isn’t much to the tutorial hood which is why I put them in a blank hood. This way everyone can build SimWood any way they want to a create their own story. This a base game template, no custom content so it can be used regardless of Expansion Packs or Stuff Packs.
