i love the block button and i highly recommend it instead of trying to argue or bitch about something. i block literally anything that i dont want to see, dont take it personally. primary things i block for are blogs that post unsafe content (sh, ed, sui, etc.), AI videos or imagery, and nsfw that makes me uncomfortable (ie things im not into).
