Ingredients: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 teaspoons curry powder. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped optional, for garnish.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine olive oil, curry powder, garlic powder, turmeric, salt, and black pepper. Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture. Cover and marinate shrimp in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread marinated shrimp onto skewers. Grill shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from grill and garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired, before serving.
