How You Met

After losing the love of her life Dan during the Second Shinobi World War Tsunade never thought she’d find love again… that was until one fateful night when she met s/o.

The voluptuous blonde was as per usual drinking sake and getting drunk when a male entered the bar who immediately caught the attention of all the women there. He was a fairly high ranking ninja who was also handsome to boot. So it was natural that even while inebriated Tsunade took notice.

One thing lead to another and soon enough the two of them became friends, despite their age gap s/o found enjoyment in spending time with the legendary medical ninja, and the same applied to Tsunade. Helped that he was almost as big a fan of sake as she was, almost.

Developing Feelings

After being drinking buddies for a while and hanging out Tsunade started to feel her opinion on s/o shift a bit. The way he was courteous and determined reminded her so much of Dan, and while she knew he’d never replace her first love in her heart s/o had his own charms she fell for.

She couldn’t believe it, but it was true. Tsunade was in love again.

The Confession

Not long after becoming the Fifth Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village, noticing that things were seemingly only escalating with time Tsunade knew that she might not get another chance to act on her feelings.

So one night after the two had finished drinking, with it being a rare occasion where Tsunade didn’t get drunk she asked him if they could talk about something important.

“S/o… when I first met you I never thought I’d be able to find love again. After what happened with Dan, but you… you’ve done things I could have never imagined, and… it’s… it’s made me realize… that I love you s/o!”

She confesses, her cheeks pink despite her not being wasted.

“Tsunade… I love you too.”

Dates

Being officially together with Tsunade didn’t change much about their relationship. Their date of choice still being to go out drinking sake together. At least whenever Tsunade’s busy Hokage schedule let her.

The Wedding

While Naruto was away training for 3 years things were relatively peaceful around the Hidden Leaf. This moment of levity being the perfect time for Tsunade and s/o to get married. Which they did, much to the surprise of Naruto when he finally came back home.

“Y-you and grandma Tsunade, are married now?”

The blonde male asked in shock, having just been filled in on the details by s/o.

“Yes we are young man.”

“So… does this mean you’re Grandpa s/o now?”
