Taylor Swift's Engagement Ring
Today Taylor Swift announced that she and Travis Kelce are engaged! Since I posted about some other celebrity engagement rings recently I thought it would be fun to look at hers.
The ring was created by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, a NYC based jeweler. It features an elongated old mine cut diamond in a thin bezel setting of yellow gold.
Lubeck is known for her hand engraving so here are some other rings she has made to get an idea of what is on the sides until we get a better photo.
I love that older diamond cuts have been coming back in style the last few years and this is sure to give them a bigger boost. Iβm generally not a fan of the modern brilliant cuts that try to have as many facets as possible so that all you can see is sparkle and not the diamond itself.
Also Iβve been watching the jewelers engraving videos on social media all day and canβt seem to stop.
