mainly for my 1440p users bc i swear everything is made for 4k over us lol

first time i used this last year it didnt work for my 1440p display, but happy to say it now works. you cant use any mods like this for example with it tho, but i prefer this over magpie as i am not a fan - my game was glitchy and blurry using magpie. i would take a slightly pixelated but big ui over losing quality of my screenshots lmao

These days we are celebrating a very special date... you know! 

When I tried to build a very special shirine, I discovered a very annouysng bug of a base game table lamp, that I’d plan to use in the unusual way (as outdoor ground light). There was a weird shadow, squared and snapable. 

This is unacceptable!!! So, I made a fix:

Base Game Lamps shadow and bounding mesh fixes

There are not just a lamp, but three bg lamps that have such issues:

- Shoji Table Lantern 

- GentleGlow Table Lamp

- Lunatech Spare Fixture in "Grass"

The shadow issues are caused by the error in node settings (GMND - tsNoShadow block - Items in SimPE). The subsets for the shadow and the lightglow textures have the wrong values, that's why the lamps' outdoor shadows are shaped as squares. Perhaps these lamps are rarely used outdoors, but they could.

The grabability of objects is moderated by the boundig mesh tunings. In the game you can touch/snap the objects by the “hand”, and sensetive area for it is setted by 3d data in the bounding mesh control (GMDC -> Mesh section in SimPE). The bounding meshes of  these lamps include the redundant parts (the shadow subset). Well.. it’s annoyng. So in this part the fixes are the same as in @simnopke​ "Paper Moon" Lamp Glow Fix. If you appreciate the benefits of the nopke’s fix, you will also find my fixes useful.

Conflicts: None that I know of. The mod will conflict with default replacement meshes of Shoji Table Lantern, GentleGlow Table Lamp, or Lunatech Spare Fixture in "Grass", and GMND tuning mods for them (like CEP, but there is no need for it).

Day 4 of my back to the sims 2

Aaalright, I’ve fixed all the graphic issues I had. Sim shadows are now fixed (or gone, lol) and I’ve got anti-aliasing/smoothness. No more jagged edges, thank you 😎

Also, I did not realize my terrain textures were all low quality, no wonder I thought the game was uglier than I remembered. Grainy grass and paint-bucket-blue ocean is now beautiful again!

College dormies will stop researching if their fun bar/mood drops below a higher level. In the unmodded code, it only checked for a mood below -25 which is pretty low ... so I changed the minimum mood to 0 and I also added a node that checks the Fun motive. I had dormies literally missing class bc they were stuck researching. Hope this helps if you have the same issue

A few months ago, I uploaded a fix of the Natural Science career that added chance cards. But it still had a problem with the first level. The chance card says you get fired but that is not coded properly.

Now, the Sim will properly be fired from the first level if you choose the wrong option.

Well, .... it looks like this mod is still not coded thoroughly enough.

Sims end up with knitting needles stuck in their hands or throwing errors because the "Knit" interaction is not cancellable.

I would love the option to be able to cancel knitting interaction and right now, the game throws errors if you try to cancel or choose another action.

We are starting a fashion store and salon in Roaring Heights!!

First, I realized that you can't actually start a home business selling clothes because the clothing racks are not available to buy on a residential lot even if you start the business.

So, I had to download this mod by BoilingOil.

Let's meet Nicole's sister, Shirley!

If only Shirley and Nicole could get along. They already argued within 15 minutes of the store opening! Nicole thinks Shirley is gaudy and tacky, while Shirley feels like her sister is a bit of a snob.

Now I had another issue.. it's always SOMETHING with Sims 2 :( Damn you EA!

There was an error thrown whilst Sims were trying to visit my business.
