Sims 3t2 Traits - Talk about Self for Snobs!

Still working on autonomous crying and worrying, but here's a trait social! (I love making socials)

Snobs can now "Talk about Self" with other Sims.

If Sims are easily impressed or have a nice personality, they will accept this.

Appears in the “Talk” menu.

A bubble of themselves appears over the Snob Sim's head. Uses generic social animations. The Anims aren't 100 percent accurately timed, but they work!

Comes with a controller and an interaction. YOU NEED BOTH.

NO CONFLICTS :) YOU NEED EASY INVENTORY CHECK and snob trait!!

Hi, I just got one of your recent mods, the one with autonomous crying. I thought the idea was great... but how often are they supposed to perform the interactions? My overemotional sim was in low green aspiration for 3 days, but never cried. I tried with both free will on and free will off (Free will off seems to only be going through maxis idles, so I guess it's meant to work with free will on only? but it never happened in my game regardless). Just wondering if anything could be done to make it more often, or maybe make it a selectable interaction on their menu? Thank you for all your 3t2 trait mods, they're great.

1. My Neurotic and Over Emotional Sims definitely do those animations. I’ll fool around with autonomy

2. Your Sims might not be doing desperation animations at all if you have this mod. I had the same problem

Sims 3t2 Traits Mod - Extreme Emotions!

THESE MODS REQUIRE EASY INVENTORY CHECK

A while back, Jelly Meduza released a mod where Insane Sims have the Desperation interactions in their pie menu. These are actions such as making out with the mop (Romance desperation) cradling a bag of flour (Family desperation), etc etc.

This mod makes it to where "Insane" Sims can choose this in the pie menu (keeping Meduza's edit) OR they will do this action autonomously REGARDLESS of their aspiration level. So Insane Sims will make out with mops even if they're not in desperation! Their aspiration still matters (So Insane Romance Sims will autonomously make out with mops, Insane Family Sims will cradle flour, etc.)

Also, Neurotic Sims can "Worry" autonomously even when their aspiration is neutral. (Anything above neutral and they won't worry)

Next, Over-Emotional Sims can "Cry" autonomously without being in red aspiration.

Finally, Grumpy and Hotheaded Sims can throw tantrums regardless of their aspiration score.

Nightmares for Traits!

Finally, a separate mod (ys2g_nightmare_3t2) enables certain traits to do the 'nightmare' animation when sleeping! Usually, only Sims who are asleep with poor needs will have nightmares and toss and turn. This mod enables certain traits to also have nightmares.

Traits that have nightmares: Coward, Insane, Neurotic

Sims 3t2 Traits Mod - Cheer Up Enabled

This mod is an edit of the Cheer Up Enabled mod from Inseminator where it unlocked the interaction to "Cheer Up" other Sims.

I like it to be a restricted interaction, so this mod restricts it by traits.

Mood factors in and then the only traits that can "Cheer Up" Sims are Sims with the Good trait, Schmoozer, or Friendly.

This mod also edits the "Set Result" BHAV for Cheering up.

Grumpy Sims will always reject this interaction, Easily Impressed will always accept. If Sims don't have these traits, it depends on mood and relationship like most socials.

This mod also edits the "Social and Relationship Change" BHAV.

Charismatic and Schmoozer Sims will gain more relationship with Sims using "Cheer Up".

How to add new recipes to my food stands/machines - Tutorial

Many of you asked for this tutorial so I'll do my best to explain how to add new recipes to my food cart, stand, machines, toaster, rice cooker etc. English is not my first language so I apologize for the eventual mistakes.

The first thing you have to do is open the food stand with Simpe. In this tutorial I'm using the Toaster Bree. Find the BHAV section (fig.1) and click on "Instance" (fig.2) to order them numerically, then click on the last bhav (the avocado one in this case, fig.3) and clone it (fig.4).

Now click on the cloned bhav, the one with the "crooked" name (fig.1) and change its name (fig.2), then commit (fig.3) I called it "New Recipe".

Then click on Resource (fig.1) and change the Instance number. As you can see, the last instance number in this case was 0x00001087 (fig.2a), so you have to add one and write 0x00001088 (fig.2b), then click commit (fig.3) If there is not a number but a letter you have to write the letter that comes after, unless it's an F. In sims 2 programming language after the F there is not a G but a number. I won't explain why in this tutorial. If you find an F write a casual number and check that no other string has the same instance number.

Now come back to the plugin view (fig.1) and search for a string called "Create New Object Instance". There are two usually; one for the food and one for the plate so you have to recognize which is which by checking the Guid in the recipe file. In this case the last bhav was the avocado one so I had to check in the avocado toast file for the guid and see if they were the same. Where can you find the guid? I will tell you in a moment but first let me return to the main tutorial.

So... click on the "Create New Object Instance" food string (fig.2) and change the first 8 operands with the guid of the new recipe you want to add (fig.3). You have to write it backwards in the first 4 squares. For example if the guid is 0x00123456 you have to write 56-34-12-00, then commit (fig.4) and save. Remember to use recipes that share the same plate or you'll have to change the plate guid too.

To find the recipes Guid, open the recipe you want with simpe and search for the Object Data (fig.1), then click on the string without "menu" in it (fig.2) In this case there is only one but usually there are two. The guid is there (fig.3). Take note of it and use it as I explained before.

Now you have to go to Pie Menu String (fig.1) and click on the string (fig.2). Then click on add (fig.3), then on the last string (fig.4) and change its name as shown in fig.5. Commit (fig.6). These are the strings shown when you click on the object in game.

Now go to Pie Menu Functions (fig.1) click on the string (fig.2) and click on Add (fig.3). Now click on the arrow as shown in fig.4 and choose the new recipe name (the one you added in pie menu string).

Then click on the first "play button" as shown in fig.1. A window will appear. Click on "This Package" (fig.2) and choose the bhav you cloned in the first place (fig.3). Then click Okay (fig.4), commit (fig.5) and save.

You're done! Replace the old stand with the new one and add the new recipe package to the Downloads folder too.

If you want to add something new, creating it yourself, you have to clone an existing food and change it. For example cloning an ice roll recipe to change the textures and create a new taste. There are already tutorials about that so I won't explain how to do it. I'm linking one of them tough, HERE. Hope it helps!

Tiffany is very entertained by this new cheerleader. June isn't as impressed.

Tiffany and June leave for their part-time jobs in Athletics and Hospitality respectively. (If you don't have Lamare's jobs in Uni, you should get it!)

This object (by Simlogical) simulates weekends and breaks in Uni!

Right now, the girls are on weekend, so no class!

Alright, checking our girls' wants, we can see that Dahlia is mostly focused on Romance and her own health!

June Ballard wants to make money and do well in school. She also is determined to flirt with the butler even though it's not going very well....

He might have cash! June's lifetime want is to be a Gold Digger (it's a custom LTW by Lamare!)

June also has a fling with Mark Bishop, another film major.

Jessica wants to be a social butterfly! She also is interested in recruiting new members for the sorority. She fears losing Tiffany, her closest friend in the house.

And last but not least, Tiffany wants to make some friends and have her first kiss! Can't start a family without two to tango!

Best part about the 1920s... smoking indoors!

Since June and Tiffany are at work, let's focus on Jessica. She wants to make best friends, but her relationship with Dahlia is pretty poor.

The University Project Project

This bi-monthly theme at GoS gave me some inspiraton, so here's a mod to celebrate GoS returning. :)

This mod gives university students a chance of bringing college project instead of standard written homework, using TS4 Discover University meshes and textures.

Project will look differently for each major. Undeclared Sims and custom majors get randomly one of 11 projects.

Chance of bringing a college project is by default 20%.

College projects take longer to finish, but are more rewarding, letting your Sims gain some skills and hobby enthusiasm. There's 50/50 chance of gaining either logic skill or charisma skill, because those are the skills that made sense to me in the college project context.

As for enthusiasm:

Art project makes your Sims gain Art and Craft enthusiasm,

Biology project makes your Sims gain Nature enthusiasm,

Drama, History, Philosophy and Literature projects make your Sims gain Film and Literature enthusiasm,

Economics, Maths/IT, Physics and Psychology projects make your Sims gain Science enthusiasm,

Political Science project makes your Sims gain Games enthusiasm.

I know some of subjects might not be the best match for certain hobbies, but I didn't want to turn everything into Science and there's history of everything, so this major could fit into many hobbies, like art, music etc.

Sims have a chance of making college project of one of three qualities: low, mid and high. The outcome depends on Sim's grade and getting help with the project (but it only counts if it happens during quality check). If you use Smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, Sims who have fallen asleep while working on their project can't make projects of high quality.

This mod conflicts with some mods:

if you are using simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Full Version - it doesn't conflict with Placement Version), choose plug-in "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_AssignmentFull" and make it load after both my mod and simler90's mod,

if you are using smonaff's Fall Asleep While Doing Homework, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_Smonaff_UniversityProjectFallAsleep" and make it load after both my mod and smonaff's mod,

if you are using @episims' Pencils by Color Traits, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_ColorPencil" - Epi's mod doesn't conflict with mine, but you need this plug-in to get colorful pencils,

if you are using Dave_Luv's Faster Homework, choose plug-in called "zz_Meduza_UniversityProject_FasterHomework" and make it load after both my mod and Dave_Luv's mod.

DO NOT use my plug-in for simler90's Homework Assignment Mod (Full version) and my plug-in for Dave_Luv's Faster Homework - these mods are incompatible.

There's an issue when a project board is facing wall - the project won't turn around and your Sim will be doing their project even though they are facing the board's back. Right now I don't have a good solution for that. The best I can offer you is that you can cancel the action and turn the board around in the Buy mode. :/

Sims 3t2 Roaring Heights - Davis-Welles

This household is notorious (to me, anyway) in Sims 3 Roaring Heights because of the drama!

Rita and Mark are a married couple living in this 1920s art deco paradise, and Mark is in love with another man, while Rita is in love with another woman.

Mark ACR'd someone on a community lot and Rita was there to see it! I had her jealousy set to "married only" so she really got mad at Mark.

When I played their lot, I immediately paused and thought of Rita's traits. She has commitment issues, so I decided to have her "Confess to Cheating" by Midge the Tree.

I had no idea that her fear for "Catching Mark Cheating" would complete, but it did!

Apparently, even though Rita was the one confessing to doing her own infidelity, Mark came clean as well.

They have agreed to a lavender marriage. Don't let the neighbors find out! Rita's lifetime want is all about her garden anyway...but separate bedrooms are a must now.

Their jealousy has been turned off.

Her aspiration meter was platinum and it only decreased to Gold, so I took this as evidence as this did NOT devastate her, and she wants things to be amicable and kept the same.

It's winter in Roaring Heights

Well not much has changed... I modded any wants to do with snow out unless there is actual snow on the lot, sooo gameplay continues as usual.

But I did download Chris hatch's custom vacation destination "Perky Peaks!" and his skiing mod (Link here) and Louise and Clark Houveir went skiing!

It's a tricky mod to set up, but just follow that green flags are where the Sims start skiiing, then they ski to orange flags inbetween, and then finish at the red flag. They gain fitness too!

The REAL purpose of OMSPs

Clutter, clutter, clutter... sure, but in gameplay, I use OMSPs so Sims actually have surfaces to place down bills, newspapers, food, coffee mugs, magazines, cigarettes if you have them, etc etc etc!!! Really adds to the immersion. Just remember where you stuck em!
