Modern feminists love to scream about patriarchy and male privilege while living in a world built, secured, and maintained by the same men they despise. They whine about "oppression" in air-conditioned coffee shops, but when real oppression arrives wearing combat boots and carrying rifles, suddenly, equality doesn’t seem so fun anymore.

They think all men are dangerous—until the truly dangerous ones show up. Not Chad from accounting who called them “sweetheart,” but real wolves—men with no allegiance, no morals, and no concern for your pronouns or your feminism.

"But Women Fight Too!"

Yeah, sure. Some do. And God bless them. But let’s not pretend the majority of women could survive five minutes in an actual battlefield. There’s a reason women and children get evacuated first. The world knows what happens when the conquerors arrive, and trust me, they do not care about your gender fluidity.

🚨Bob Woodson, founder of the Woodson Center and the 1776 Unites project, died Tuesday at 89 🚨

Bob grew up fatherless in a Philadelphia housing project, raised by a single mother after his father died young, dropped out of high school, and joined the Air Force at 17. He earned his GED in the service, went on to study math at Cheyney University, then earned a master's in social work from the University of Pennsylvania.

He marched with the NAACP. He ran the National Urban League's criminal justice division.

He marched with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He got arrested for it.

He believed in both organizations until they became Democrat Party fronts with no connection to their original cause.

The break came over forced busing. In the 1960s, the civil rights mainstream pushed hard for busing Black children

across town to integrate schools. Woodson said no. He watched Black children get pulled out of schools staffed by highly educated Black teachers and sent to inferior schools in white neighborhoods.

The integration was real. The improvement was not.

He got called a segregationist for saying it.

His answer: "I said, just because we have a common issue doesn't mean we have a common purpose. Their reasons for opposing school busing and mine were different. If Hitler likes classical music and I like it, am I supposed to stop liking it?"

He eventually summed up what those organizations had become in four words: "Bitchin', begging, and busing."

He left. In the 1970s he worked for the NAACP on community development, for the National Urban League on criminal justice in New York City, and for the conservative American Enterprise Institute on neighborhood revitalization in Washington.

He found them all ineffective… Left, right, and government alike.

"The civil rights movement was beginning to morph into a race grievance industry. They asked which problems are fundable, not which ones are solvable."

He saved his sharpest words for Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Keep in mind what Bob Woodson built with a $25,000 grant. Then consider that Al Sharpton built a career showing up after the cameras did.

"There's nothing worse than self-flagellating guilty white people and rich, angry Black people who profit off the misery of their people. What Sharpton and some of those are doing is worse than bigotry. It's treason. It's moral treason against their own people."

"The only time you hear from them is when a white police officer kills a Black person, which happens maybe 20 or 21 times a year. But 6,000 Blacks are killed each year by other Blacks. Their message is that Black lives only matter when taken by someone white."

He called them "race hucksters" who had no interest in solving problems because solving problems would put them out of business. "My worry is that the money and resources will go to the same racial grievance groups, the same members of what I call the poverty Pentagon. They'll give it to Sharpton and the others to do what they've been doing for decades. What doesn't work. What in fact is making things worse."

So he went and built something that worked.

In 1981, with a $25,000 grant and two decades of hard-won experience, he founded the Woodson Center as an alternative to left-wing groups, right-wing groups, and government aid programs alike.

His bet was simple. The people closest to a problem are best positioned to solve it, not government agencies, not think tanks, not organizations that flew in, wrote reports, and flew home.

The people who woke up every morning inside the problem.

His ideas crossed every political line. Vernon Jordan, president of the National Urban League, backed him. So did Democratic Congressman John Conyers, chairman of the House Subcommittee on Crime. Woodson testified before that panel and urged Black empowerment as the answer to crime.

Not more government.

Not more programs.

More trust in the people already living in those communities.

By the 1980s, President Ronald Reagan was listening too. Woodson and Reagan spoke highly of each other publicly, met in the Oval Office, and worked together on policies aimed at Black communities.

Their shared conviction was that enterprise zones and empowerment zones, areas where tax incentives and deregulation could unlock private investment in struggling neighborhoods, were more powerful than any federal aid program.

Woodson sat on the board of the American Association of Enterprise Zones and worked closely with HUD Secretary Jack Kemp, whose partnership with Woodson became one of the most consequential alliances in the history of urban policy.

Over four decades, the Woodson Center brought training and support to more than 2,600 leaders of faith-based and community organizations in 39 states, helping them secure more than ten times the funding the center itself spent.

In 1997, after a 12-year-old boy was murdered by feuding gangs in a southeast Washington housing project, he brokered a peace, holding the meetings at his own office.

He wrote hundreds of articles and several books on youth crime and urban policy, including "The Triumphs of Joseph" in 1998.

He lectured at colleges and community centers across the country. He never stopped calling it as he saw it.

"In the past 50 years, $22 trillion has been spent on poverty programs. Seventy percent goes not to the poor but to those who serve poor people."

"When the suffering of a people becomes a fundraising hook, the incentive shifts from solving problems to sustaining grievances."

In 2020, he launched 1776 Unites as a direct answer to the 1619 Project, telling the stories of Black Americans who built schools, businesses, and institutions against every odd.

People who refused to be defined by what had been done to them. He wanted to plant seeds of possibility in young minds and drive out the curse of fatalism.

He had 40 years of results to back it up.

Two weeks ago, at 89 years old, he published his final essay.

He called it "Wake Up, Black America. Excellence Is Our Inheritance." He was still in the fight until the very end.

Rosa and I are keeping the Woodson family in our prayers. We were blessed to know him.

Just because someone doesn’t “contribute to society” in your mind, or you can’t see what value they hold for anything (which, btw, is VERY un-empathic thing to say, and lacks emotional intelligence), does not mean that ANY and ALL people, ALL Beings, even, do not hold value in and of themselves, and doesn’t mean that their value as a Being, or even, value to and for the world, is not there. It is the difference between conditional love, and Unconditional Love. 

Everyone is valuable, just for Being. Those who cannot see value in other Beings, because they cannot see the productive qualities in other people, or good qualities that they personally value in life, in other people, does not mean it makes others less valuable in Life. Your own conditional and un-empathic perspectives and opinions mean nothing to the actual value of everyone in this world, and Beyond. Everyone is equally valuable, everyone is equally cherished, and everyone is equally Loved, just for Being. 

You do NOT need to do ANYTHING, to be valued, just your Existence is valuable. The value of a Being, is not equated to what gifts they can give to other Beings. That is conditional love, an exchange, you are placing a price onto a Being that you want to get something out of, and only value that Being if you get something from that Being, when everyone is actually Priceless, and thinking otherwise is such a wrong thing to do to anyone. 

Everyone is valuable, everyone is priceless and everyone is deserving of being seen as Equal to yourself. The pricelessness and value of everyone is there, regardless of if you see it, or not. Pricelessness is not determined by what you give, it is inherent to everyone, just by Being. Just Being is a valuable thing, you are valued, you are cherished and you are Loved, just for yourselves. 

More women hearing other women complaining about a man not associating with them in work, she defends him saying he literally did nothing & calling those other women spoiled & attention seekers & sexually deviant.

I wanna see more women being good & decent with good morals, standing up for the men around them even if they get nothing out of it because it's the right thing to do.

Because for years, women have been telling men, "don't flirt with me," "don't talk to me," "don't look at me." Then, when men totally cut them off, these same women whine & complain that men don't associate with them beyond professionally, saying it creates a "hostile work environment?"

Like, he literally did nothing!! How is that hostile in any form or fashion!?

We need more good, upright, sensible women with good ethics out there defending innocent men who just wanna go about their lives.

Rad Feminism has utterly destroyed dating & that's making the lives of women who actually want to be wives & mothers, in particular, much much more difficult because men just don't want to take the risk of finding the right girl anymore!

Let's be realistic ladies! We need men & they need us! So, get back to treating the good men like the fucking kings that they are!

Did you know that it's actually a felony if a man doesn't register for the selective service? For them to have the right to vote, they have to be subject to the draft.

We get to enjoy the right to vote just for being here, but men don't! How is that fair!?

Why don't rad feminists clamour for that??

If you really wanted equality, demand that we too should be required to register for selective service!

As for male rapists not being jailed for long enough, you are absolutely right!

They should suffer longer jail time.

And so should female rapists!

At least male rapists actually get jail time. A girl recently raped a 13 year old boy & is now having his baby, but she gets to walk free, no jail time at all! Not only that, but she gets to keep the baby!

And, guess what? It's looking like the kid might end up having to pay child support anyway despite being a boy & a victim of rape.

i think the doctor knows yaz has done/will do the same morally questionable things as her if it becomes necessary? because for her to be self aware about herself, and then also aware of yaz becoming her in a way. she has to assume that its a possibility. and asking her to hold the master at gunpoint is her testing that theory i think. because yaz very well could have straight up not done it but in the end, shes her equal, she admires her (and wants to impress her lets be real), and she has a duty of care. she knows/assumes how dangerous the master is and doesnt want anything to happen to Her doctor if she can help it. theres no use being squeamish weve got the doctor to save.

i hadnt thought of that angle but the doctor consciously sort of testing how much yaz will indeed do exactly as she herself would, and guessing right on that front is so interesting. i was reading 13s comics yesterday and she did it multiple times there too, like delegating to yaz for llittle minidoctor tasks like occupying herself with a victim like she does in witchfinders with willa too, and like just literally going "yaz, go play police at those aliens" (i said "be police" first but 1 no jurisdiction, and 2 for the doctor 'be' and 'play' are the same thing)

and when she gets yaz that gun, it's so interesting bc to me at least it feels like simultaneously theres the power dynamic of doctor-companion where yaz is definitely a step lower like shes not in charge here (compared to later with vinder) but what the doctor uses that power she has to do is to like place some of it in yaz if that makes sense? she's using yaz as a proxy of herself, which sounds bad but i think thats what shes doing?

like guns for the doctor are this visual sign that theyre going against their own principles right? it's not really the violence of guns that the doctor protests bc theyre plenty violent, but it's a visual representation of their principles right? we see this with 10 when he wont take wilfs gun against the master but when he hears timelords are coming he does. 13 being willing to use a gun on the master means shes willing to break her own rules to deal with him (which the doctor always kinda is with them thats part of the problem but i dont think it's in the "i forgive you one more time even though i shouldnt way" this time)

but also! she doesnt touch the gun herself. she orders a soldier thats at her command (actively breaking her own rules) to give it to yaz. ace talks abt this i believe in at childhoods end, to yaz. that like, the doctor is not opposed to violence but they will keep their own hands clean if they can. as opposed to 10 who picked up the gun himself, 13 lets yaz do it. and then later, bc of course the doctor cant shoot people, yaz lets vinder be the one to actually shoot the master. 

so 13 is outsourcing her principle breaking wrt the master to yaz, but i think shes aware of it. it's not like letting yaz handle the gun is eschewing her own responsibility, i think she doubles her feeling of responsibility, bc not only is she breaking her own rules, shes making yaz break them too (clara voice: and now youve made me lie! youve made me your accomplice!) which is why it feels so simultaneously like equal and unequal, yaz is both doctor and companion in potd.

(short detour abt what you said abt "theres no use being squeamish weve got the doctor to save" like yeah thats exactly it. i wrote a fic where yaz shoots the master and the doctor is like Why The Fuck Did You Do That bc while she expected yaz to take the gun (bc she would), she didnt expect her to shoot (bc she wouldnt), but that then maybe reveals a sort of distorted image she has of both herself and yaz. bc yaz did shoot, which means the doctor would shoot even if shes so dedicated to the image of herself as The Doctor that she might not realise that she would. and it reveals an underestimation of yazs feelings for her, and her sense of duty, and how far she will go, has gone, to try and save the doctor. the master is a threat, so she shoots (im thinking again of clara and 8x12 where 12 literally offers to shoot missy to protect clara('s immortal soul))

and abt that equality, like, there was this photoset i saw last week of bts stuff from s11 i think? chibnall talking abt the first meeting in the train. which was basically just like that post i made ythat you linked except chibnall was talking abt it from 13s perspective, which i hadnt considered dkdjdjdh

i saw your tags when you reblogged that post and i thought abt them for a bit but didnt respond bc i dont think i entirely agree? theres a definite, like, respect and i think recognition on the doctors side of things when they first meet and she does the thing i wrote abt in that post where she like listens to yaz and then presents her own plan and this first listening to yaz probably fixed a problem they might have had if she had just forcefully tried to push yaz out of the authority position she was in there as a police among civilians, where yaz might have fought for the leadership position the entire rest of the night and maybe rest of their time together (not that thats not also a fun version of events to think about) 

anyway to get back to the point, yes theres that respect, and the doctor uses yaz for her skills since the beginnig, but i dont really agree that it's equal necessarily. the power difference is too big and too easily leveraged by 13 for me to call it equal

when it comes to doctor-companion power dynamics the first thing i always think about is the tardis, because it's this really concrete and undeniable representation of that power right? you need this ship and you need this pilot or you are most likely never going home again. thats just like a fact at the foundation of most doctor-companion relationships (excluding companions who have their own means of transport or could fly the tardis maybe like river or romana). im not saying thats on purpose or the doctor likes it, im just saying when youre stranded on an alien planet and theres one person who is capable of making sure you dont die, doug eiffel voice: really really far away from home, then youre not gonna do anything that person doesnt want you to do. or at least youre gonna be hesitant to

so following the big bluish money (tardis), i think the real equality between them finally only really arrives
