How lovely. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has adopted a revamped platform that explicitly calls for abolishing the U.S. Senate and replacing the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and subordinate to Congress. No more separation of powers, which was originally based on a more Biblical understanding of the nature of man.

They are also proposing a new constitution and the establishment of a "democratic socialist republic," again effectively dismantling the current separation of powers among the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. Their platform demands the elimination of the Electoral College and the extension of voting rights to noncitizens. It further seeks to end all deportations, grant amnesty to all immigrants, and remove restrictions on international migration.

The DSA advocates for defunding the Department of War, abolishing police and prison systems, and instituting public ownership of major corporations and essential industries. Their words, not mine.

And yet it won't make national news but a drowned black teenager does and made into a race crime.

Billy and Virginia Blair, high school sweethearts who had been married for decades and owned a tire shop together in rural Mississippi, were brutally murdered in their own home.

The 74-year-old man and 71-year-old woman were shot multiple times by a 17-year-old who broke in.

The suspect allegedly fired on responding sheriff’s deputies and even an infant during the attack. Over 280 shell casings were recovered from the two-hour gunfight.

The teen now faces 13 felonies, including two counts of capital murder, and was denied bond.
