Refrain from tethering your dogs to plants at the crag, which causes damage🐶. The Sage here is fragile and often looks dead but will spring to life with new growth after precipitation🌧. Alternative place to tether your dog: The Rocks! Pics 2-6 show a few simple gear anchors: Cams, Nuts, and Tricams (which can act as a Cam or a Nut). Place the gear in a crack in solid rock and use anywhere from 1 to 3 bomber pieces to tether your dog. On a budget? Tricams are relatively inexpensive, versatile, and fit into tight spots that cams will not. Ask a friend for hand-me-downs: Your trad-stoker friend probably has an extra set of cobweb-covered Tricams looking for a new home 🕷.
