Trigonosaurus pricei
(Okay that face is horrifying what the heck) Art from https://www.flickr.com/photos/maniraptora/593490363
Name: Trigonosaurus pricei
Name Meaning: Triângulo Reptile
First Described: 2005
Described By: Campos et al.
Classification: Dinosauria, Saurischia, Eusaurischia, Sauropodomorpha, Plateosauria, Massopoda, Sauropodiformes, Anchisauria, Sauropoda, Gravisauria, Eusauropoda, Neosauropoda, Macronaria, Titanosauriformes, Somphospondyli, Titanosauria
Trigonosaurus, at one point known as the Peirópolis Titanosaur, is a titanosaur known from the Mariíla Formation in Brazil. It lived in the Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous, around 70 million years ago. It’s size is unknown given that it’s only known from some vertebrae and the left ilium, so once again we have a fairly fragmentary titanosaur.
