#hadrosaur

YALL GOT NO CLUE HOW MUCH I LOVE HADROSAURS. THE ENTIRE SPECIES FAMILY IS WHAT I CONSIDER A FAVORITE! YES, ALL OF THEM. Hadrosaurus, Edmontosaurus, Parasaurolophus (which is my least favorite of hadrosaurs for its name. ITS SO DIFFICULT TO SPELL HOLY MOLY), Maiasaura (my most favorite of hadrosaurs), AND ALL THE OTHERS!

I kid you not, for a SCHOOL ESSAY, I wrote a three page, 902 word essay, just straight up glazing both hadrosaurs and herbivores in general.

Extinct animal in general though? Call me a narcissist but my theriotype, the Kelenken, is second. WE WERE GOATED ALRIGHT? YOU CANT BLAME ME 😭

Imma also drop my favorite fossil tho, because I can. BOREALOPELTA! COOLEST FOSSIL EVER (aside from the mummified Edmontosaurus)! Borealopelta was also featured in my essay, as the essay was mostly about how herbivores usually fossilize better than carnivores. ANYWAYS ABOUT BOREALOPELTA! A fossilized nodosaur discovered in Canada (I forget the province every time), who was so well preserved that not only was its last meal still in it, BUT THE GENETIC CODING FOR THE COLORS WERE STILL THERE! It seriously helped paleontologists figure out how nodosaurs were colored, which was a rustic color of orange that was lighter at the bottom and darker at the top. Which is called countershading!
