Every Tyrannosaurus rex you've seen came from Hell Creek. Hell Creek Formation preserves the last 700,000 years of the Cretaceous, a stretch of Late Maastrichtian badlands across Montana and the Dakotas. T. rex, Triceratops, Edmontosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Thescelosaurus, Anzu wyliei, and Dakotaraptor all lived here. Directly above the formation sits the K-Pg boundary, a thin band of clay enriched in iridium, deposited in the aftermath of the Chicxulub impact. Art: Franz Anthony. 🦖 Matériaux pour la paléontologie suisse, ou, Recueil de monographies sur les fossiles du Jura et des Alpes / Genève: H. Georg, 1854-1873. Original source Image description: Illustration from "Matériaux pour la paléontologie suisse" (1854-1873) depicting detailed fossilized jawbones and teeth of Paleotherium species from the Eocene epoch. The image shows multiple views of molars and mandible fragments with intricate surface patterns and wear. Labeled figures represent Paleotherium medium (1-3) and Paleotherium curtum (4-5). The fossils display cracked, aged textures consistent with ancient vertebrate remains. Although primarily Eocene fossils, they relate to broader Cretaceous paleontology through evolutionary lineage. The plate is titled "PALÉONTOLOGIE SUISSE" and includes precise anatomical details valuable for comparative study of prehistoric mammalian dentition.

I felt inspired today and drew a few things, including this *Quetzalcoatlus* and a redesign for my OC (along with a lore change). Anyway, I still need to digitize the OC redesign and some drawings of Carnotaurus and Sinosauropteryx.
This is the first one I've finished; I hope you like it.
