I have been in such a mood lately! I don't know what my deal is... Right after I realized it MAY be because I'm not writing every day like I'm supposed to I decided to throw out the budding rough draft of my manuscript. I got the formatting of a Gishlan novel wrong so it's just easier to start all over.😥🤬 Right before I lost my absolute temper I found this. I write in pretty notebooks BECAUSE I CAN! Outlasted #5. Wow, is it possible that August 2013 was the last truly awesome trip we had together? A ranger led a twilight paddle to a graveyard for stone rubbings and a spooky story. It was a hot but pretty night. Maybe this was the same state park trip with a farmers market and a bluegrass band? From my state park passport, I think this was the Fairystone Park trip. The March 2014 trip was off; I think Kiptopeke in summer 2014 he was texting the girlfriend; and fall 2014 my broken toe wasn’t healed but we went to Belle Isle with friends and it was kinda nice. Anyway, don’t need to keep the gravestone rubbing, but I sure did enjoy that outing.
Outlasted #4: 20+ year old shorts from a store called Britches. They kept fitting because they were pleated and a little baggy; then the elastic gave out. They still fit, just differently than when I was 28, but, enough is enough. I don’t need painting shorts that badly!Â

tossing:
- box of old grapefruit juice in the fridge
- empty: Skinwhite lotion - not repurchasing. Don't like the smell and hard to work into skin.
- empty: Alishan oolong - it came in a set of 5. This packet has silver packaging and a label: 日出白芽 (rì chū - sunrise; bái - white; yá - bud, sprout)
giving away:
- inflatable neck pillow that has a tendency to slowly deflate. Love that it has a washable cover, unlike most styro-bead types, but I don't really use it that often anyway.
chores the battle against entropy:
- ironed four dress shirts (only 10 more to go!)
- filed bank statements
- light vacuuming and using that sticky roll that actually seems to pick up more stuff than the hand vacuum, and uses no electricity too and is kind of fun to use and has cheap refills at Daiso
