I finally managed to make a batch of bollines! One bears sigils for the white-handled knife from the Greater Key of Solomon, and the other two have mostly abstract botanical or swirl designs. One has a handle set with moonstones.
One of these knives will be going to a charitable auction for witches this weekend, and the rest will go up on my shop.

Sitting out on the deck in the cool evening air working on some wands (rose of Sharon and a found juniper branch) and pentacles. It's just so nice out today!
As it's a full moon I decided to cut some willow branches out back to make lunar wands, as well as an apple branch for wands pertaining to love and growth magic. It's been about fifteen years since I made a wand of apple wood and I had completely forgotten that the sap under the bark smells faintly of apples. I picked some apple blossoms while I was at it to use for love mixtures as well. I can't wait until the apple tree fully flowers, as it's a huge tree that must be seen to be believed. A week from now it's going to be honeybee central!
Mounting moonstones into the handles of me and my girlfriend's besoms. The left is mine and deviates from tradition in that the stone went in the butt of the handle, but I bought my besom pre-made and as I like it very much I'm not taking it apart to do it 'properly'. The one on the right is being made from the ground-up, as it were, and as such it has the proper phallic point, tipped with a moonstone bead, which will eventually be concealed by the brush of broomcorn. The symbolism of this is, of course, blindingly obvious. Why worry about sexual subtext in Wicca when it's all just text?
