so most of y'all who've been following this blog for any amount of time probably know that i've written a book that has been waiting to get published.

the book is called 'the messengers of doom.' full of humor, it is an urban fantasy revolving around hindu mythology, for young adults but it can be interpreted differently by any age group, and tackles themes like love, life, pain, purpose et cetera.

currently in the publishing process, it is out around this may! yes! finally!

i've made this account pretty recently, so there's all sorts of updates regarding 'the messengers of doom' that are going to be out soon!

when enoch is collecting specimens and organs millard sometimes tags along and they discuss anatomy science in-depth together

fiona teaches whoever's willing to basket weave (horace is first to learn, olive doesnt have the attention span, millard already taught himself eons ago, bronwyn becomes obsessed and has made 5 already)

Fiona knows how to sketch,, really really well. Hugh volunteers to pose for her whenever he sees her drawing.

Fiona and Horace often make paint and fabric dye together naturally made from her flowers

Millard is almost never in the house. I think we already knew this but he knows just about everyone in the Acre, peculiar or not. And he's good friends with most.

Horace also volunteers to model for Fiona, she loves sketching his ootd, and sometimes she draws new clothing designs and horace attempts to sew it for her

Sorry, I'm really pushing it with the whole "Fiona draws" thing, but she 100% makes paper dolls for claire too

Hugh has found some very weird bugs, and was able to see some of the famous moth evolution which happened at the time of the acre, (yk the one where they went from white to peppered bc of the smog), and immediately told millard about it

Though usually Miss Peregrine is in Bentham's former house on business, when she is at the wards' house she attempts to give any lessons she can to the kids.... mostly fencing which olive, after some time arguing whether she's old enough to do it or not, is kind of ridiculously great at (they stick lard at the sword tips, so it's perfectly safe)

Enoch, who usually cares less for anything other than sleeping, pacing, or organizing.. organs... has taken up writing witty, smart-ass journal entries. Noone knows this except millard, who is pleasantly surprised of how good a writer he is.

Bronwyn occasionally goes on supply runs outside the Acre, (pre-ymbryne shield) and has secretly found a hobby in reading ya fiction and new age classics. she sometimes accidentally references a story in casual conversation and noone knows what she's on about

Millard, on a supply run, somehow found a portable, battery operated record player and some records at a music store that Lily recommended through the email system outside the acre at the library. (He's not supposed to be contacting her because of the Noor situation, but what's the harm for non-peculiar related conversation? )

“Has Lord Vader reviewed my request for an audience yet?”

“You don’t know very much about Lord Vader, do you?”

Governor Pryce cocked her head, her short black bob impossibly neat and tidy. Orson Krennic found her put together exterior infuriating. She had requested that he file heaps of documents and paperwork, simply to be able to consider entertaining the thought of an audience with Lord Vader. He had never met Vader in person, and from what he had gathered the man seemed rather imposing from the warnings he’d been given. Unimpressed, Krennic decided that Vader could be no worse than Tarkin, who was condescending and cruel and quick to take credit for anyone else’s hard work. All else must be an obvious exaggeration.

Tarkin was the sole reason Krennic had gone to such lengths to override and supersede the Grand Moff’s decision to claim full supervision of the construction of the Death Star. All Krennic knew was that Vader was allegedly not particularly fond of Tarkin, and that he had enough power to influence the Emperor’s opinion of the man. If he wanted an ally, Krennic had concluded that Vader was his best bet. The Death Star was his crowning glory, he’d be damned before he let a man like Tarkin steal that accomplishment from him.

“All I know is that he and I share a mutual goal,” Krennic settled on, deciding not to pick a bone with Pryce after all. “I’ve signed every useless document you’ve handed me, I have been professional and patient, and I have tolerated every single excuse. I believe it’s time I am granted some sort of recognition, I deserve as much.”
