The mysterious adopted daughter of Syoutarou Hi, lord of the Ignis Kingdom, little is known about who Kaori Hi before she was taken in by the ruling family. Stranger still is the psychic abilities she possesses... although to be honest given how many people are of the "Psychic" trainer class, it's more surprising that her signature type isn't Psychic.

Always having been adventurous and curious individual, while most individuals of the Ransei Region find the traditions and relationships with Pokémon strange in other region rather peculiar, Kaori has embraced them wholeheartedly, even having befriended and caught a vast multitude of Pokémon from across the Pokémon World, often excitedly bringing them home to show her family, which especially caught interest of her younger sister, Daiya.

Coming in strong with Specialist team, Kaori has always had a strong relationship with her Hydreigon. Found abandoned, Kaori took it in as a young age, relating to the poor Pokémon, and trained it to become a formidable powerhouse, spearheading her team. Seeking to discover new dragons, her Baxcalibur was caught when it began menacing Lumiose City when it emerged from a portal to Hyperspace, while her Turtonator joined her after she scaled the mighty Blush Mountain. As for her Dragonair, it's always has proclivity for seas, and bolstered with Eviolite, has served as a mentor to Kaori's sister's Dratini. Despite appearing fairly chill, Kaori's Exeggutor can be an aggressive individual, and her Garchomp is a fierce fighter, often challenging her Hydreigon and Baxcalibur in tests of strength to hone its skills, though will also rely on its Mega Evolution in the fiercest of battles.

As for her Freeform Team, Kaori's Mismagius and Hatterene are mischievous pair, using their Will-o-Wisp and Thunder Wave respectively to toy with their opponents, opening the way for Kaori's Hydreigon to finish their opponents off. Her Meowscarda and Delphox, on the other hand, were seemingly drawn to Kaori, sensing her magical proclivity, and it may surprise you to know that these two Pokémon have helped Kaori understand and develop her innate abilities, especially once Delphox gained the ability to Mega Evolve, But when all the intricacy and planning fails, there's always her Duraludon, always around to flatten anything and everything with its colossal Gigantamax form. A simple Pokémon with simply joys.
