Lion King 2 really went "this child never learned to play. His and his siblings' only idea of fun is actual fighting. He only finds amusement in legitimate life-threatening situations. He only learns to have normal fun when he's an adult". Goddamn.
Also can we talk about Kiara getting into situations comparable to Simba's encounter with the hyenas and she thinks they're fun? yeah it could be a defense mechanism ("I laugh in the face of danger" anyone?) but my girl shakes off near-death events with naught but a giggle

The Lion King 2 will forever hold a special place in my heart as one of my all time favorite childhood movies! Obviously, the original is insanely good! But I dunno, I just love TLK2. Vitani is my fave TLK character ever!
Anyway, I wanted to give attention to the deleted scene of Nuka's death where he tells Zira he finally got her attention before he passed away. His death was depressing to begin with, but that deleted scene made it 10x worse for me. :/

Dug up this TLK2 fanart of mine to post since the Mufasa movie came out recently and - no surprise - was painfully mid to the point I had to take myself back to my favourite installment of the series mentally + bonus Nuka doodle from today
I could talk for hours on how amazing Nuka and Zira are as characters and how wonderfully messed up their whole family dynamic is in relation to Kovu if they ever touch the 2nd part then I'm ending up on the news
I find this shot from Knights Of Guinevere specially funny because this is literally what Disney did to Vitani in The Lion Guard π
