this is no ordinary lamp

THIS is an early piece of art meant to convey roughly what the movie is about. it is made to give an idea that is NOT final. most times it’s just vibes. most times you’ll find 20 pieces of concept art of 1 character and they all look wildly different from each other. that’s just how it works. sometimes the vibes in the final movie are the same as some of the concept art, sometimes they don’t. either way this is NOT a screenshot of the movie before they “cOmPLeTeLy ChAnGeD iT”. there isn’t a “better” version of the movie based on this concept art that creatives are hiding from you. at no point in production 2 hours of footage were gonna look LIKE THIS. this is just a drawing. we can discuss how good it is for hours, we can discuss how much you like this art style which admittedly is pretty cool. we can also discuss how corporate and marketing influenced story changes, surely. however, the movie was never gonna look LITERALLY like this. genuinely have you never seen concept art from disney movies or movies in general? aren’t you aware there’s TONS of stuff that gets removed early (or even late!) in production?
