Anyways what else uhh Kiara is dating Vitani, Tiifu, Zuri and Fuli

She really gets sidelined A LOT after the first movie. I was thinking/hoping maybe she would get to do more in The Lion Guard but she's mostly just there to be The Mom and it's just...ehhh...

First of all, in Paintings And Predictions, it's an entire plot point that Kion looks a lot like Nala's father. I feel like that should carry! It would be so cool if Kion actually does grow up to look a lottt like Nala's father.

Secondly, I feel like it'd add a lot of layers to Simba's over protection towards Kiara. What if he saw Mufasa in her? What if that's another reason why he doesn't want her to get hurt? (Of course, he already has a reason, or well, many reasons. He's horrified of his family being split apart again, it happened to him, he doesn't want it to happen to Kiara or Kion. But I still think it'd interesting.)

Thirdly, Kiara's whole "You'll never be Mufasa" and her overall connection with Mufasa's wisdom. If you want evidence, I feel like Kiara knew from a young age that the outsider war was a war not worth fighting. It was a war that the armies didn't need to fight in, and a war fueled by their two leaders being stuck in the past. Simba sang the we are one song to her when she was a cub, but she took that lesson with her to that war, I feel like she definitely realized the war was stupid from a young age. Kiara is a wise lioness, I don't care what the haters want to say. I feel like it'd be so interesting if Kiara just continues with that as she becomes queen, she becomes one of the wisest rulers of the pride lands, right next to Mufasa. No one will ever be Mufasa, of course, but what if the person who has a striking resemblance to Mufasa says that? I feel like that adds such an interesting layer to what Kiara said.

Fourthly, Kiara is a lot closer to Simba, so I feel like if one of the kids has to be closer to Simba and his side of the family, why don't you use the one that's closest with Simba? (+ it's a common sexist trope that the mom's genes does nothing...despite birthing the kid...so what if either both Kiara and Kion look like an actual mix of the two, or, one gets one side of the family's genes and the other gets the other side. Nala's genes gave up on Kiara, and Simba's genes gave up on Kion.)

Fifthly, I think Kiara deserves to be, and is allowed to be, buff. Big Kiara will always have my heart. Get's the big genes from Sarabi and Mufasa, and can just get buff after training for a little bit. I love that she is feminine, but you can be feminine and still be buff. (Kiara training with either like Imara, Vitani, Makuu, or all of them will also always have my heart. Maybe she realizes hunting just isn't her thing, but she still wants to learn how to fight, and maybe she just finds herself going to train more for the fun of it, rather than for protecting herself or those she loves.)

Lastly, this is similar to the previous point, I think Kion should be smaller. While I feel like he does end up developing more of a mane as he grows older (Late puberty and the venom), his mane never grow too big and is very loose. This is because Nala's side of the family has a lot of lions that never grow full manes, as well as maned lionesses. Of course Kion is not a maned lioness, that genes goes to someone else (eyes emoji) but still. It was common for male lions on her side of the family to not grow full manes until they were older. Sorry I got off track, this is just me talking about my headcanon now.

Unless it's some weird asexual reproduction on Simba's end, I feel like Kiara and Kion should get some of Nala's features, or at least make one of them a Simba clone and the other a Nala clone. I argue it should be Kiara as the Simba clone and Kion as the Nala clone, but whatever.
