Micheal, my second TKH OC!
Micheal was the person Ethel died to save. He later served again in WW2 on an aircraft (possibly as a fighter pilot, or on a bomber plane), and went on to start flying recreationally. On one trip, he had his nephew, Eddie (named after Ethel's wartime alias, Edwin) on a plane ride with him, when they ran into engine troubles. He held the plane steady long enough for Eddie to eject and land safely- but he gave Eddie the only functional parachute. His Mortal Wound is from where he hit his head in the crash, and his Saving Grace is a pair of wings that he can summon at will. He is functionally Ethel's babysitter, though sometimes they're BOTH a handful.

Wow it's been a long time but why do I suddenly want to make another TKH OC that's the guy Ethel saved and he also ended up as a knight (when he was much older) and now he basically babysits her because she's a chaos gremlin?

Making a story about Knights is one thing, but having Knight in the title when a very large now-show has knight in the title is weird 😭. It makes you want to change the title.. but how can you, when knights are an intrinsic part of the story?

Trinity died in 1984. If you’re confused, I’ll go in depth in a different post, but TLDR; blame Jerimiah’s time traveling shenanigans.
At this point in time, there might be multiple knights from WWI, a good 70 to 66 years before Trinity dies. I imagine the sentiment around Trinity’s arrival to be either “Stolen valor,” “Thief,” or “Actor.” If anyone personally knew her (or her Thomas identity), which is very unlikely, they’d be just as confused.
So, Trinity’s first year as a knight is full of challenges. The circumstances of her death are never questioned, more that she herself is. The better part of Trinity’s first year is spent trying to salvage whatever reputation she had on arrival to be thought as a soldier from WWI.
