Hello everyone! I've been thinking and I thought it was about time I finally post some OCs on here! (Major yap session and tickle art below cut)
Introducing, Feather!
"Do not fear the blue bonsai that bears the one of feathered eyes."
Feather is, as you might've already guessed, a tickle monster! A very tall one at that. (Double points for being a comfort monster). Standing at 8 feet tall, Feather is the second tallest of his four "siblings". He resides in the northern-most sector of my dream-esque tickle world called Giggloralia and is a very sweet and tender creaturr!
He's a very kind and caring being that feeds on happiness, and his realm is considered a "safe haven" for all who travel through and is the most populated realm in the world.
Abilities:
"All-Seeing-Eye" - His bottom ear wings are decorated with light teal eye emblems with white feathers symbolising pupils. On contrary to covering his eyes like his top wings, these emblems would allow him to not only see a potential lee's favourite spot, whether it be their worst/not so much doesn't matter, if it's a spot the lee enjoys being tickled that's what he'll go for.
"Feather Boa-like Tendrils" - Incredibly soft and fluffy appendages that he uses for both tickling and gentle feats of affection. He usually likes to use them to target especially sensitive spots (usually the neck and armpits) or as a means of light restraint for particularly squirmy lees. They are also semi sentient and will pick up people for fun (if they're ok with it of course!).
"Blunt, retractable claws" - His claws act an awful lot like ordinary nails but are even more tickly. He can either use them or his furred fingers if prefferred, which, some lees would argue is objectively worse because of how soft they are bur also more preferred because his fur is rumored to have a very soothing effect causing the most hostile of lees to melt to his touch.
"Chest Emblem" - His emblem both signifies his monster type as well as how he feeds. Right-Side up, pastel coloured heart (gentle spirited, doesn't need a lot to feed). Right-Side up, white feather (the feather slowly gains/loses colour based on how hungry he is, a completely empty feather is his version of "starving", this rarely happens however, thankfully)
Behaviour:
Gentol. Though, truthfully speaking, he adapts more to whatever his lee wants, whether it be rough tickles, gentle tickles, or in-between, but his go-to are always soft, light tickles.
He moreso likes to revel in the joy lees feel when tickled rather than their laughter itself, not that he doesn't adore it all just the same.
He has a very soft, "father like" demeanour. Even outside of one-off tickling events, he often maintains a close relationship with those he interacts with.
Major sweet tooth, despite not needing sweets to live, he often indulges in them A LOT. This also translates into his tickling as he often finds himself calling his lees nicknames such as; "muffin, sweetheart, honey, etc."
Rather than lay in on actual teasing, he leans more into giving his lees genuine compliments whenever he tickles them and loves pointing out cute little reactions or sounds the lee may make.
"Why I could just revel in your laughter for hours! You're absolutely precious."
"Was that a snort? Oh dear me and here I thought you couldn't get any more adorable. I stand corrected."
"I just adore the way you giggle whenever I tickle here! It's like a freshly baked batch of cookies. The next one is always sweeter than the last."
He always aims to make his acquaintances feel safe more than anything and will always adhere to their needs and wants if he can.
He does tend to chuckle and laugh along with his lees a lot of the time. He finds happiness to be very contagious.
He also takes great pride in being a caretaker and good friend! Feeding off happiness means he's willing to do that in all ways he can and has quite a lot of hobbies that help him with that. If someone isn't feeling particularly "giggle-savy" that day there's always something else they could do.
He has very high empathy and is very good at comfort. Just like how happiness makes his hunger go down, sadness makes him get hungry faster, and thus, he needs to help solve that issue and fast.
I tried to make this as short and condensed as possible - I'm not really good at structuring these kinds of posts or fleshing out characters (sobs), but if you made it this far, thank you so much for reading about my boy! He brings me joy.
