Let’s just say that I had this grand plan to wash and re-caulk my roof, so I could get rid of the tarp and never look back. Summer 2018 was obviously one full of foolishness... cleaning the roof of your trailer is hard!
I don’t have a leak anywhere in my trailer *thank god* but I fear the day it happens and I know it’s an important thing to do. This summer, I think I will try to do just the front part, where I think a leak is the most likely.

I used an old wood palette that we got with a food delivery at work. I love finding things I can reuse in some way, that are useful. I also used a piece of 4x4 that was leftover from my roof project, which I haven’t even showed you yet....
So the work on the ugly corner has been going really well - as most things including Cidre do... - and I think it looks great! I still want to do more to it.... maybe add a seating opportunity?
My window Wall!
So I decided to build walls around my new roof, because it rains sideways here. So I found some old windows and Im off to a good start!
I bought 5x 1x2′s - which actually were not what I wanted. Maybe I wanted 2x3′s? I have no idea. But anyway, thats what you get for being impulsive. But I made it work, and after realising it was all a bit wobbly, I did some stabilizing with some 2x2′s (or 2x3′s? No Idea - they were from Franks squirrel hunting ground - the wood pile). Once I added some bulk, it was all looking great.
The next problem I faced was 9ftx4.5ft window wall vs. one small and weak person with a back injury. But when has sense and the prospect of personal injury ever stopped me? Never.

Today, the honey and I worked on fixing a part of the sidewalk with scavenged brick. There's a dumping area for demolished buildings near his dad's house, and we always find some pretty great chunks of brick, tile, and concrete.
