“Had a lot to buy at the store and still forgotten your eco-bag? Use the paper bags again, they can have more than one purpose if you are creative enough!” ___________________________________________________________
Day 2 of my STS project on zero waste management! went grocery shopping recently and forgot to bring an eco-bag, well, the paper bags are a bit worn, but not unusable! they would be perfect to reuse for other things, I just need to look around and know what.
Upcycled💖🙌

Working on a reusable grocery tote made from crochet plastic bags
Sometimes you find lost treasures and you just can't believe it. I've made a few jasper, obsidian and carnelian arrowhead pendants in the past that were sourced from Canada by my lovely Father-In-Law, but I found this raw quartz arrowhead at the bottom of an old jewellery box at a flea market in Newark last Monday. I'd initially overlooked it in the first rummage until it caught my eye as I was leaving. It needed some TLC and a thorough sonic cleaning, but I'm thrilled to have repurposed it in my usual arrowhead style with recycled sterling silver wire and salvaged turquoise agate and lava beads reclaimed from broken necklaces. Did you know that in the past some folks believed clear quartz was fossilised ice? And if a quartz arrowhead protection amulet needed anymore power, you can used the lava bead to carry aromatherapy oil too! . . . #sustainablejewelry #upcycledbrokenjewelry #reclaimedbeads #rawquartz #quartzcrystal #quartzarrowhead #arrowheadnecklace #arrowheadjewelry #recycledsterlingsilver #recycledsilver #reusereducerecycle #clearquartz #quartzamulet #quartztalisman #talismannecklace #protectionamulet #sustainableliving https://www.instagram.com/p/Cc72gxZtHrv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Bubble Wrap Book
I recently purchased a watercolour set and got few watercolour papers free with it. So I decided to make a tiny watercolour sketchbook.
I used bubble wrap as cover as I have saved plenty of it. Every time if some parcel 📦has bubble wrap in it, I save it for future use. It is plastic so either I could reuse it in someway or make sure that it goes for recycling. I do hate the concept of using bubble wraps in first place. Recently I saw some e-commerce websites using alternatives like foldable cardboard (definitely not Amazon) which might be a better alternative.
