Today, the honey and I worked on fixing a part of the sidewalk with scavenged brick. There's a dumping area for demolished buildings near his dad's house, and we always find some pretty great chunks of brick, tile, and concrete.

So glad the Japanese beetles are finished! My poor roses have had such a hard time. But look at these blossoms! I see a lot of rose infusions in my future!

I'm an avid knitter (when my schedule allows). Pickle puppy got a sweater after her adventure of going bye-bye,today. She's going to outgrow it within the week, but now I know she looks great in purple!

I was working at the Future Hubby's gaming store today, and went to the bathroom to find this. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge nerd and love my fellows. BUT. As you can see, the paper SITTING ATOP the empty roll has been HALF USED. Not only did a lazy nerd not change the toilet paper, but I can only assume SEVERAL lazy nerds refused to replace the roll. That, or the original nerd also took a colossal dump that required half the roll. Either way, it's no wonder some of these guys still live with their parents...
