I created her literally a few hours before the game, and we didn't know how telepathy was supposed to work. So, Chik-Tak-Tik kind of sends a request and understands if the request wasn't received by any sentient being (who knows at least one language) and if it was rejected Here she notices that birds are watching her, sends out a mass connection request to everyone she sees, and receives a bunch of "your request was rejected" messages

Vector Belle Roach is a character whose design I came up first while messing about in Heroforge, and ended up unexpectedly popular for a bit in the subreddit. It's rather tricky to make a 'bug' design that I actually like, until I saw someone's heroforge recreation of Shakra from Hollow Knight Silksong, using a piece to form her mask. So I borrow the trick to make the face, and came up with a vaguely draconic-lizard-looking insectoid design.

After that, I was trying to figure out what class to have her as when I remembered my first ever Artificer character, who was an Artillerist, so I decided that I make her an artillerist artificer, kitbashing a gun to go along with it.

I then ran out of things for her to do beside artificer-flavored spellcasting scene, and ended up giving her a kid to interact with, thus making her the first ever character of mine who's canonically a parent.

In terms of personality, she's excitable, optimistic, and scatterbrained, easily bored if she has nothing to do and will tinker to occupy her mind. She's not malicious, but she's the type of tinkerer that will make or do something just to see if it works, even if the results are either highly impractical, questionably ethical, dubiously moral, incredibly dangerous, or all of them at once.

Considering the reproduction (lay a case of eggs and then raising the clutches communally), she doesn't actually have strong maternal instinct, but since the guild has members from other species she did aspire to be "the cool parent", though her attempts just makes her an embarrassing one instead. It does means she gets along well with the hatchling. Or maybe they just want her cookies.
