After decades of repeated crimes against peace and order, multiple robberies and vandalic destruction of private (and some public) property, violations of public health regulations, breach of restraining orders against a humble and law-abiding undead ship captain, murder (repeated times) of aforementioned undead captain, illegal and dangerous use of coconuts, falsification of gobernment documentation and several successful escapes from numerous prisons (not to mention what he did to the poor mop tree from Mélée Island), both civil and divine justice have decided to put an end once and for all to the reign of terror of the most evil (and moderately mighty) swabbie of all time™. Karma, Voodoo Powers, Sherman (Blood Island's lactose-intolerant Volcano God) and the aforementioned undead captain have imbued the mystical Three-Headed Monkey of Monkey Island with ill-tempered, unstoppable magical powers.

This time there is no escape, the monkey will kill anyone stupid or daring enough to get in the way of revenge. And everyone will regret not looking behind sooner.
