Swashbuckler Rogue OC starter culture
so just now i was on the wikipedia for Tim Schafer right
and i'm looking at the list of games he worked on yeah?
wait whats that about Star Wars 1999?
say what
that man is a joy, but also he's satan because for like 7 years he's appeared in videos with this fucking custom one of a kind Manny Calavera (from Grim Fandango) coffee mug-
and in every comment section of everyone of those videos, you see people pleading and begging for that perfect mug, but they do not sell that fucking mug at all (those cheap etsy ones don't count no get that shit away from me) AND THAT IS CRUEL MR. SCHAFER
listen i don't say shit like this lightly, but Grim Fandango is a perfect game
its so fucking good that for like goddam 20 somthin years I've heard people repeat the same "it was so good it killed the point and click adventure genre" because no one could fucking surpass that and the bar was set so damn high
(i know i know there were other factors in the demise of the p+c adventure games, many agree that the genre had already peaked and people were losing interest by the time GF released anyways)
