From a distance, under the cover of night, there was a red armored being watching from the trees along the treeline. Jason used his visor to get a closer look, accessing local social media and databases to identify everyone there in attendance to this apparent…stake-out. In his helmet, he could hear everything they were saying, trying to figure out what the hell “Demogorgons” and “Demodogs” were. 

It was safe to say, he couldn’t find shit on them. 

Though, he couldn’t help but watch Steve, who looked just as handsome without glasses as he did with them. The nail bat should have been slightly off putting, but watching Steve twirl it and do a couple of practice swings, well…it was definitely doing something for Jason. He wasn’t quite sure though. It was adorable.

“ So, you just gonna stare like a creep or are you gonna join ‘em?” Trina’s voice asked through his comm, Jason giving a groan as he remembered that he wasn’t doing his own stake-out alone. Technically. 

“They can’t know I’m here.” Jason whispered back, leaning against the trunk, surprised that the thick branch he was standing on supported his weight, armor and all, “Or that the Red Ranger of Angel Grove is here. They’ll put two-and-two together and then…” 

“ Figure out that Jason Lee Scott, new guy in town from Angel Grove may or may not be the Ranger from the same exact place?” Kimberly asked with a snort, “ You do know there’s voice changer settings in our helmets, right?”

A subset of Chaosgender, when one's gender is fluid but unpredictably so. It is a sort of "grab bag" of adjectives and pronouns that may start out as coherent but soon turns into chaos. Can be seen as a mix between genderfluid and chaosgender where the gender changes but it is always unpredictable and chaotic.

Hmm, maybe I don’t think about opening lines as much as I ought to, but the one from Recruitment at least is a pretty good one, even all on its own! (and look at me catfishing everyone with some pretty short opening lines for a couple of these lol)
